10 miles tomorrow but teammates bailing out because of the rain.. "flooding, etc" I hate running alone & if I do it's not gonna be a quality LR. Usually run 6:50-low 7 with them & it's difficult to do that alone. I'm a middle distance runner what should I do? I already did 2 track workouts this week.
Why not stick with the long run and just run it slower then? It won't have the same impact as running it at your normal pace but running 10 miles a bit slower than usual is better than not running 10 miles.
Another choice is to substitute a shorter LT run or moderate run. Plenty of runners do a long run every other week, so if you've been doing them consistently and this isn't a pivotal phase, then this option wouldn't kill you.

Run 10 by yourself. Then text your teammates this quote.

I did the LR alone & averaged 7 flat. Lifted yesterday too so tbh it was a grind. Dropped a couple 6:30/40 miles. Is this solid for an 800m runner trying to improve their endurance?

It depends on what kind of 800m runner you are. But the answer is most likely yes. Where you'll benefit is in improved ability to run longer harder track workouts, which in turn should help you to kick ass and take names in races.

In high school my best events were the 800 & 400. Quite embarrassing I never ran a fast 1600 due to the lack of endurance work. I trained with the 400/800 guys & they had speed to drop down to 200. One of them was even on the 4x1. I ran 2:05 & I wanna break 2. I've done solid fartleks which i'm fairly new to still & sets of ranging reps with short recovery, Ks at 4:40/50 pace, mile reps ranging from 5:15-30. Haven't done actual speed yet and I've managed to run 2:12, 1:30, 55 (all comer meets) then two 25 200m when breaking in spikes.
