greetings- I plan to run a fall marathon- 38-39 weeks away and after a 2 week break this winter start my base building next week - I was up to about 37MPW before the break. I plan to get back up to 42-45 MPW over the next 20 weeks before starting a marathon specific plan.
I need help in finding a plan for the Fall- I am looking for a plan that runs 5-6 x week but having only 2 w/os per week instead of the usual 3. I find that I need more recovery from my w/o runs than a single day can provide.If my base going in is at 42 MPW, I think I could workup to 50-55 MPW as a max .
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
