800:
1. Ricketts
2. Mills
3. Brown
Mile
1. Norley
2. Brown
3. Sarajilc
3000
1. Sullivan
2. Sarajilc
3. Kreuch
5000
1. Maldonado
2. Sullivan
3. Hutton
Sarajilc is not going to do the Mile & 3K, and if he does, he won't be top 3 in the 3K. He'll be a great DMR leg if they want to use him there.
Likewise, Brown won't be top 3 in the 800 if he does the Mile. Look at every other UAA meet where he's doubled Mile-800 or 1500-800, there's simply not enough time between events for him to recover.
Lot of contenders yet to race: Stender, O'Gara, Becker. Where did Brodeur go? Will Norley steal his mojo again?

The 800-Mile double didn't work too well for Brown in the 800 last year.
Wash U has a secret weapon. Doping of the future.
We also figured out how to cheat on all of our exams. This technique never fails. A couple days before the test, we read over our notes so that we remember them. Then we go into the exam, and even though it looks like we're completely clean, we actually have all the notes stored in our memories so that we can just look them up.
Easy A's. More time for ghost mileage.
Here's individual running events
60M
Rubin-Singler - Emory
Zelkin - Case
Su - NYU
60 is such a toss up that anyone of the top 5 can really win. No one's head and shoulders above the field. Toss-up between the top 6.
200M
Gourde - Brandeis
Brown - NYU
Downey - Chicago
Giving Gourde the W on his home track. Only person that's gone sub-22 this year, albeit it was at BU. Pretty impressive IMO that Downey is one of the top pole vaulters in the conference as well.
400M
Brown - NYU
Wahner - Case
Gourde - Brandeis
Gourde has the fastest time, but the other two haven't had the chance to run at BU. Wahner beat Brown h2h at SPIRE; it's the only individual loss he has in 200 or 400 this year.
800M
Ricketts - Wash U.
Mills - Carnegie
Cashner - Wash U.
Ricketts went 1:52 at Hoosier Hills. Brown from Emory is the only one who's been close to that, and he won't be running the race fresh. Ricketts winning this is probably the surest "lock" of the meet, outside Kurtenbach on the girls side.
MILE
Norley - Carnegie
Brown - Emory
Matteucci - Wash U.
This is a tough one because predicting what people are going to run is challenging. Wash U has three in the top 10, Chicago has three, Carnegie has two, and NYU and Emory have one apiece. Brown, Norley, Matteucci, Sullivan, Melia, Karam, and Ferguson are likely going to run it. Under the assumption Sarajlic runs the 3k. Norley FTW because it's what he does.
3000M
Sarajlic - Wash U.
Nielsen - Chicago
Sullivan - Emory
Sullivan's run 8:22 at Samford this year, and no one's really in the same zip code time-wise. However, the race also goes out slow. The best milers in the field are Sarajlic and Nielsen. Assuming they both opt for this, and no Stender, Sarajlic takes it.
5000M
Maldonado - NYU
Hutton - Brandeis
Saddler - NYU
Hutton has the fastest non-converted time, and he'll be running at his home track. Maldonado is going to try to do a long kick from 600-500 out. Thinking he'll hold on, but this will be one of the more entertaining races.
800M
Ricketts - Wash U.
Mills - Carnegie
Cashner - Wash U.
Ricketts is the obvious favorite. Its his race to lose. Mills and Cashner might flip flop.
MILE
Norley - Carnegie
Matteucci - WashU.
Brown- Emory
I think its a slow first 800 then Norley throws down a 27 bell lap FTW.
3000M
Sarajlic - Wash U.
Sullivan - Emory
Kreuch- Chicago
Sullivan will take the pace from the start and try to run a nationals qualifier. Sarajlic will burn him the last ~150. Quick time I think, maybe 8:23ish
5000M
Hutton - Brandeis
Johnsrud- WashU
Saddler - NYU
Not much to say.
Why does everyone think Sarajlic is doing the 3k and not the mile?
Maybe DMR-3K double is easier than DMR-Mile?
WashUs 3k depth looks incredibly weak besides Sarajlic and Johnsrud. Easier to move up than down so Sarajlic goes for 3k over moving Johnsrud down.
Anyone know when entries are out? Tomorrow night? Friday morning?
Entries are out!
1. Rochester
2. NYU
3. Emory
4. CMU
5. WashU
6. UChicago
7. Case
8. Brandeis (of course)
This one will be tough for the bees. Don't know how they'll pull it off but you just gotta bee-lieve...

Word on the street is that the Bosnian Banger was arrested this week after Trump's immigrant deportation rule. Looks like their depth may be even weaker.
I think that the real question here is:
How will Brandeis's BANQUET performance be? Emory's performance this fall will be a tough one to beat with their "one plate policy" and lack of vegetarian options. Will NYU get there so late again that they are turned away at the door? Kosher options?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
