My average run has been in the lower 80s, windy, and humid. Feels like spring is well under way and it effing sucks. I miss running in the 40 degree overcast.

Move to the east coast more wind and 70's. only 2 days in 80's
You produced Vanilla Ice, the jimmy Johnson teams of the 80s, and presumably the rapper Flo Rida. You have a problem with Burmese pythons but the state doesn't even let people trap them year round, let alone actually hunt them. Half the people in your state are from New York.
I'm a glass half-full kind of guy, but a mild winter should not be at the top of your list.
I went out for my 20 miler at the end of last week, and temps went from 72 at the start to 78 at the finish (2 hours 20 minutes later). Calf cramps started at about the 11 mile mark. Still, far better than training for a fall marathon through the upper 80s and low 90s and high humidity of the Central Florida summer.
Sincerely,
A transplanted New Yorker
I went down to Jacksonville to run their half marathon in mid-December hoping for some cool temperatures. It was 70 degrees and 95% humidity!
South Carolina has been warm, too. I think I have worn running pants on only 4 or 5 runs all winter.
I'm from Michigan, came down to run the Disney Marathon, it was 35 degrees at start...
But for the wind toward the latter part of the race, those were almost ideal conditions. I suppose that might be like saying "but for that iceberg, the Titanic had an ideal maiden voyage."
Central Florida has had some nice spurts of weather, but it has warmed back up. Hoping that gives me a training adaptation (increased blood plasma) that helps come Boston.
I've been doing most of my runs around late afternoon down here in S. FL. Kinda warm out lately though. Was caught off guard the other day and was wishing i had done a better job of hydrating or took a salt capsule.
Walked the Ocala marathon in mid-Jan. Temps in the 70s, high humidity (esp. at the start), and blazing sun. My slowest walk over the distance ever, even counting marathons en route in 50km races.
I did my morning run that exact same morning not too far from the Disney marathon going on, and that was the "coldest" day we've had all season. Lucky you.
already got a dehydration headache from running in this weather Monday. pretty early in the year for that. I was sweating like crazy on the way to work today.
No joke. I lost 10 pounds of fluids on my 20 miler.
It's been so bad these past few years, I no longer have a sense of what "normal" temps are supposed to be. A couple weeks ago I took my dog on a walk, and had to go back in the house and get an extra jacket and long running pants because I was so cold. I was literally shivering.
I looked at Accuweather -- it was 59 degrees.

Really? Can't relate. I despise the "cold", which for me is anything under TShirt weather where I feel warm.
Unless I'm racing something longer I would much rather run in 70-90 degree weather than in 40s or god forbid anything colder, especially because it means that the weather in general is cold. I live in CO, so we see plenty of days between 0-40 in the winter, and while I will tolerate running outside in those conditions I can't say I enjoy that aspect. I'd be perfectly happy to never see another moment of a day under 75 in my entire life.
There's no comparison between FL and CO climates none. I openly welcome cooler temps when cooler temps are supposed to be here.
Agreed. And different temps feel different in each location for some reason (which I suspect to be purely psychological). I live in Florida but was in Colorado yesterday for a family vacation. I went out for 6 miles in the mountains in Steamboat with the temps at 36 and 12 mph winds. Absolutely brutal Florida conditions, but in Colorado, it was fine. I wore a baseball cap, a headband to protect my ears a heavyweight longsleeve, a lightweight t (more to improve my visibility to drivers than anything else since my other gear was all black), and knee length tights with underwear underneath. Tucked my hands into my sleeves as needed. It just felt crisp and delicious, mostly because I have been out to CO in 5 degree temps and my expectation was that I was going to have to run on the treadmill, so being able to run outside at all was a treat.

I ran three miles home from Pulse nightclub early one morning and set a big PR.
What? Too soon.
"It's too cold to run outside" said no runner in Florida ever

I did Birmingham AL Marathon in Feb 2012--- it was 19 degrees at start with 9 degree wind chill. That was "special"! Did Jax in December 2009--39 at start and 72 at finish and Jax in February 2007 was 72 at start and 60 at finish....ran Fort Lauderdale Feb 2016--58 at start 72 at finish. You just never know!
