I'm sick of my roommate telling me to put the toilet seat down. Put it down yourself.

It's funny how guys can never say to leave the toilet seat up. Women feel entitled to have everything their way.

Why not just sit down to pee? It really is quit a bit more sanitary. It lowers the chances that your bathroom will smell of urine.

I have bon3rs when I wake up at night to pee. It is like a video game to pee. If I was to sit down, my pee pee would touch the toilet. Women just want everything their way.

They have been thought from a very young age that they can always have their way...

I know this op is a troll but:

How old are you? If you're under 60 neither one of you should be rushing into the toilet late at night unless you have serious bladder issues that need attention from a doctor.

Second, you need to get ridof that foul-mouthed rude roommate

Don't you have lights in the bathroom

Even a nightlight would help.

And finally,, she's rushing into your room after a sex dream and wants some loving.

The most efficient strategy to minimise raising/lowering of the seat is to leave the seat as it is when you finish. The only other acceptable policy is to leave the seat and the cover down every time - this is good manners and also means that everybody has to alter the configuration of the loo before and after every use, so at least it's fair.

She ought to remove the toilet seat for good and let you experience the shock of making contact with a cold, wet porcelain bowl. It's a fun little trick.

This: squirt some WD40 on the toilet seat, you'll hear her howl when she hits the floor and taken internally, its a cure for constipation.

I'm in a similar situation.

At my work, we have one bathroom closest to our office that's unisex. Its about 50/50 ratio men and women. I lift the toilet seat up to pee and leave it like that.

A woman once came in after me and was like 'please put the toilet seat down, I shouldn't have to touch it since I'm not using it that way.' I argued that I also had to touch it to use it up, so in essence it's only fair.

I consider myself a feminist and figure it's only fair that way. I don't understand why I should put it back down...

What say the rest of you? (There's no top lid, just seat)

What's the deal with women not turning on the lights in the bathroom at night and even taking a casual glance downward to see if the seat is down or not before dropping their ass down?
