To the posters who will talk about EPO, etc., I don't give a f****. You have no evidence.
I just loved watching these guys in the 90s/00s!

Geb cost KB a chance in this. Geb didn't have it and KB was deferring. It only became clear at 200m to go when Geb stepped out and let him go by.
I was a huge Chebii fan growing up... he had amazing speed. Everyone feared his kick, but he was so inconsistent. I remember him closing in 23" for the last 200m and being blown away.
What an incredible stride.
That was the golden era of track and field
At that time, running sub 13 was nothing special...

Apparently only in the race from the OP.
The fact ESPN was covering a race
Best announcer line in the race:
"Well, he's (Gebrselassie) trying to shake people; I think he learned something in Paris last week that was interesting where he just tried to spurt on everybody."

lol
Sammy Kipketer gets between Bekele and Kipchoge. There is a guy who flashed in the pan somewhat. I remember him setting the road 5K WR of 12:59 at Carlsbad (supposed age 18), then not a lot else.

Does this list look suspect to anyone else? Surely, Geb and Bekele have raced more than this? What about Olympics, etc.?
