Check out the subtitle of the web page, Make Personal Record Possible. Sounds rather familiar, hmmmm.
Hasay ran 68:40 a few weeks ago.

JH only 23 seconds slower at warm Houston and Cragg has run 227 3 times.
Why was Shalane a DNS for the second year in a row?
Has any new info been posted about Shalane's condition? I see on instagram she was in Japan, so I'm surprised and concerned she didn't compete.

Too much FSU led to sake poisoning.
Everyone knows her plan for spring? She's not running Boston or any major race as far as we know.
68:27 bro, not 68:50. Thanks for the stats!

I thought she signed w/ Boston in April and this half was a benchmark race leading up to marathon
Maybe some of these fast 1/2 marathoners should forget about the marathon and concentrate on road racing- kind of like when we had the road racing boom in the early 80's.
The American "stars" were running road races and actually interacting with the public.
It helped make the sport pretty popular- races on TV often and their names were known in the running community.

Since when is 68:50 faster than 68:31? Where did you learn to math Rojo?

According to this, Shalane has come down with a severe case of #3 ( Beef with broccoli)
Get well, young lady :(
13 seconds difference, not 23.
You say in your title that she ran 68:27 but had her at 68:50 and not in the right order.
Title was mine. 68:50 was probably a typo by Rojo (Hastings' previous PR was 69:50). Apologies for the confusion.
