Good. I'm tired of tobacco abusers being allowed to hold government jobs.

You won't want to pay for it though. Moron
It would pay for itself in the first month. No free money if you can't stay clean.

Yep! A number of states have done this already, and just look at the money they're saving!
Florida did that. Did not find savings and then lost a civil suit and then it was ruled a violation of the 4th Amendment.

Trump is brilliant!!!!
This has been tried in many states in regards to welfare recipients. It always results in an extremely small amount to virtually no positive tests. Meaning the states end up spending more money on drug testing than would have just not bothering. It's a money loser. But hey... Why not?

Sort of like the miniscule amount of guns found in stop and frisk.
And if they do start the drug testing that they test POTUS, Congressman, Senators and all those crackers receiving those large government contracts

Especially those congressmen like Charles Rangel and John Lewis who have been sponging off the system and do next to nothing for their constituents. Test them more frequently.
I sure hope they don't drug test me. I really need those food stamps and EBIT stuff. Dang, I am a doofus.

Welfare participation would drop 50%....
Can you fvcking read? This is not some new revolutionary idea. It's been tried SEVERAL times before and it doesn't work. Sounds good to the dumb white racists who think Blacks make up the majority of people on welfare. That is simply not the case. It's going to effect that camouflage wearing, meth head, trailer park dwelling Trump voter. It's too costly dumb a$$....it doesn't work.
We can also drug test anyone taking a home mortgage deduction, or anyone deducting carried interest, or anyone working on a multibillion dollar military boondoggle project, all members of Congress and the president, etc

Trump needs to be first in line. Followed by his proposed cabinet. Then by members of Congress. That will not go over well.

In that case, welfare participation would drop 75%
I hope this applies to those farmers that get those huge govt checks too.
If those sponging off the government are using their ill-gotten gains to lead unhealthy lives, it simply means that they will die younger and their sponging will come to an end.
Good riddance!
Okay, I have to go 7/10 here, just because everyone seems to have ignored the OP's comment about tobacco (which, like alcohol, *is* a drug) abuse.
Well played, OP.
