Great read...
The book mentioned, How Democracies Die, is also very good. Regardless of your politics you all should read it.

There’s still been zero evidence regarding the collusion boogeyman.
Well, as far as public evidence, there is the meeting Don Jr had with Russians during the campaign regarding dirt on Hillary.
Plus the meeting Michael Flynn had with Russians over sanctions before the inauguration.
And Trump working with Manafort during the campaign who had deep Russian ties.
And firing the FBI director for not stopping an investigation on Russia was quite curious as was publicly shaming his appointed Attorney General and campaign buddy for recusing himself on any Russian investigation because of meetings he had with Russians.
And any really solid evidence would be held by Mueller and not made public.
As far as we know, there may be tons of evidence, so you can't say there is no evidence.
You can only say there has been limited evidence shown to the public.
What we are dealing with is a president that lies so much that we are used to it and have to filter everything he says.
And even more importantly, we are dealing with a president who changes positions so often depending on who he is talking to, that congress doesn't know what kind of deal to put together that he will sign.
He has shown very poor leadership on advancing objectives or even communicating his objectives.
Usually you would have a president make speeches on what policies he would like to be enacted and then have to deal with what congress will present. And there may be compromise or even obstruction by congress, but at least everyone knows what the president wants.
Do we know where Trump stands on anything other than wanting that wall he said Mexico would pay for?
His biggest accomplishment is signing a tax bill that was totally different than the one he campaigned for - where he said it "wouldn't be good for me, believe me"
And what exactly is is stance on DACA and immigration in general?
I truly do not know.
He suspended DACA then said he wanted to make it law then refused a deal that would make it law.
What?

I agree!
I think Flagpole is making the case that he is willing to lie in order to try and support his argument.

Awesome! A Trump and Hitler photo. That's what I'm talking about.

I didn't read the whole argument. Apparently Flagpole did pull a # out of thin air. He should have known better. But now it looks like corrected himself, but STILL displayed that the uneducated, overall, definitely went for Trump. That was his point, and it is 100% true no matter how others are trying to spin it. Yes, his first # was a large exaggeration.
However, my question is, regarding your comment that Flagpole was "lying in order to try and support his argument" ( I don't think it was intentional, but leaving that aside for a moment), wait, do you suddenly have a problem with someone "lying (or completely making $hit up) to support one's argument" ??? If so, you might want to take a look at the ultimate subject of this thread, your dear leader, Donny Boy, because he has told more lies to support his arguments than just about any public figure in history that I can think of. Don't be a goddamned hypocrite. What Flagpole did, and more importantly he corrected his #'s in the end, is small freaking potatoes compared to the lies, exaggerations, and stomping of the truth that Trump does every damn day.
don't pretend you suddenly care about "lies," you hypocrite. Your hero is the biggest goddamned liar of them all. And THAT is the truth.
Are you new to politics?
Every President in my lifetime has lied, exaggerated, and misled. I'm sure since you are on the other side (apparently), you think Trump lies more than the others, but you'd be wrong.
Perhaps Trump just can no longer find the data to back his arguments, doesn't know where he read it, or it might have been a typo in his sources.
I'll give it to you, Flagpole, your minions sure are loyal to you. You should be proud of them.

I don't get this.
Not only are you saying that lying is acceptable and business as usual.
But you really think that Trump does not lie more than others.
He is a lying machine.
And easily verifiable lies, not lies about what may happen in the future or lies about estimates.
Straight up lies that can be fact checked on the spot.

WTF are you talking about? I've criticized Flagpole as much as anyone, that's a known fact. He at least corrected his mistake. TRUMP NEVER DOES THAT. NEVER. And it makes him a lying POS, with no class, no character, and you know it.

No, but apparently YOU are "new to politics", or new to reality, because no honest person doesn't realize that Trump is the KING of lies in American politics. There is no one who is even a close second. If you had a shred of honesty or integrity you could admit this. Just say:
"Look, I don't give a $hit what he says, or if he constantly lies/talks out of his a$$, or insults people who are 1000x better people than he is, I just want him to piss off liberals, lower my taxes by a few bucks, put a conservative justice on the supreme court, tell minorities and immigrants to F' off, etc, etc. I don't care that he lies, I LIKE that he is a class-less, lying, racist A-hole. So am I! It's funny. And he does some actual concrete stuff I like. "
Just say that. You can't be honest for like a half second??? Are you really that dumb that you don't realize he is a not stop lying machine? Wow.
Flagpole, you have trained your boys well. They're like trained attack dogs.

Flagpole is not alone. You, on the other hand, continue posting under many of the fake names in this thread, Hardloper.
"Congressional efforts at comprehensive immigration reform failed under presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. In 2013, the Senate approved bipartisan legislation that would have offered a path to citizenship for the nation’s 11 million undocumented immigrants, build or renovate 700 miles of border fencing and enact significant changes to family immigration and work visa programs — but the GOP-controlled House did not allow a vote on that bill."
Obama did NOT lie. EVER.
"My guy may lie, but your guy lies more."
That's a great defense, Hamilton.

Is a nationalized 5G network a good or bad thing?

They'll get back to you once they consult Flagpole.

Personally, I'm not sure. But Wilson's point stands.

Clearly, Trump puts country before party.
