Let's see where we are after a few years of Trump's policies.

His past business failures tell us a lot about his abilities, period.
If Trump was broke today, then you would have a point.
We don't really know if his assets > liabilities do we? If you take out a million dollar loan that you can't repay and start driving around in a BMW many would think you weren't broke.
Right, like Obama's lies?
Obama before he cheated to win: I'm going to give college credit for those who do community work like raking leaves. Fools like you fell for it.
Obama afterwards: Well, we can't do that (smart people>>>duh!!!!!)
Flagpole: I'm not too bright but I voted for you anyways based on your race.
Glad you continue to lie and cover up all of Obama's lies.
Flagpole: He never lied once, I guarantee it! Zero chance of him lying.

Why address it? Let's check the GDP, employment, and wage numbers and compare them to Obama's. That's what really matters.
Oh, and my dream government would consist of every single person in DC doing nothing but playing golf every day, all day. I would gladly vote to fund that.
In your fantasy world, government doesn't play a hand in anything. Across the real world however they do and will continue to. Trust me, your boy Trump isn't going to change that, and thankfully no one will. If you want to be anti-American and hate the foundation that made this great country possible go ahead, but really don't be foolish into thinking somehow government will go away.
In my fantasy world the Federal government obeys the rule book and only does the jobs assigned to it by the Constitution.
That makes me a radical.

That exchange alone should have been alarming for any American watching. That someone would still think Trump was suitable to be President after that is shameful.

Wrong, That Wolff book is a novel & belongs in the fiction section. I hope Trump sues the hell out of him.

Make it your homepage, like Flagpole
Trump doesn't have much to sue him on... you know what's brilliant about this book? No one needs to have read it to know it's mostly true, because so far a lot of the content is in line with accounts of people in his circles and Trump is desperately trying to prevent it from getting out. There will be no law suit.

Unless you're already pretty rich or going to med school you can't take out a million dollar loan.

That makes you a simpleton. All rules have to be interpreted, and from a practical law standpoint, rarely anything is black and white in the Constitution.

Better make it early next week. The shelf life for that isn't long.

The Constitution —Article I, Section 2— requires that all people in the US be counted in the census, regardless of citizenship.

That makes me an American. The Constitution is very clear and Fed power is very restricted. Without the rule book we go from being Constitutional Republic where our representatives are limited by the rule book no matter what the size of the majority might be, to being a Republic where a simply majority can operate without limits. That is where we are today, and it is the source of almost all our problems.

Right. Throw out all illegal aliens before the 2020 census. Problem solved.

So, if Texas let 100 million Mexicans cross the border on the day the census was taken, which would give Texas about 100 more electoral votes, and then sent them all back across the border the next day ... you'd be OK with that?

That's because you are a creepy authoritarian, precious. The Supreme Court has never upheld a prior restraint, even in cases where the government claimed that publication would severely damage national security. Yet, Trump is seeking prior restraint to stop a book from being published because... it hurts his feelings. This kind of despotic absurdity doesn't even make people flinch anymore.
