I think one of the more amusing thoughts regarding this election and President Trump is an ovulation is that every time a liberal whines and cries about the mean stuff President Trump says, or how incompetent they think he is, they are also reminding them selves of how terrible of job they did at finding a candidate who could beat him. If Trump is such an inapt leader and such and obviously terrible choice, it doesn't say much about the Democratic Party that they couldn't even mount a successful campaign against him.
Don't trouble yourself with non sequitur arguments like "but, but, but.....muh popular vote!" I suspect that someone is just itching to throw that one out there, so I figured I'd head it off and help you realize what an ineffective and non-starter argument that is.
doesn't work like that.
No one should doubt that Trump is brilliant campaigner. From the gun he was a leader of the repub primary pack. Right from the gun he was center stage at all the repub debates.
He was utterly brilliant at insulting, denigrating, stoking conspiracies and urging Americans to be afraid. This works. This is a valid, time tested campaign strategy. he did it better than anyone before. he is one of the world's great salesmen. Always has been
But
He is one of the worse statesmen in American history. he openly governs just 1/3 of the nation and excludes the rest. He actively tries to divide the nation. he is senile. he doesn't know how government works. He betrays. He crimes.
Point is, there is HUGE difference between campaigning and governing. Trump and HRC are opposites. One great at campaigning and bad at governing, the other the opposite.
