Liberals are dumb. they're getting so boring, same old stupid trump-russia mean terrible guy spiel. can't see past their own fragile egos. what a buncha losers.
That didn't make any sense the way I phrased it....redo: If Trump purposely takes steps to facilitate the failure of ACA that would hurt the country and its people. That would be immoral even considering Trump's low standards.

The Democrats should have helped the Republicans shoot themselves in the foot by passing ObamaCare Lite. Then Republicans would have owned the ensuing disaster. Watch for stories with that spin. This was a mistake for both Democrats and Republicans but Trump should emerge untouched.
Yes, and you or Hillary would have done a better job with your low standards. Glad you guys lost, HA!!!!

Go***n you don't let this go do you? It was already exposed as an editorial error, and here you are still claiming it's something "Obama said".

He didn't just say it, he published it as fact. In 1991 Barack Obama published a biography saying he was born in Kenya.
http://www.westernjournalism.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Obama-Column.pngLater he said he was born in Hawaii, so one thing is absolutely certain, at some point Obama lied about where he was born. The question is, which one is the lie and which is the truth? At what point did he have the most to gain by lying?

Dude - you're conversing with the Disco Kid here. Truth simply does not exist in the Kid's world.

INCORRECT!
If you are going to specify Trump's standards then you have to honestly apply them.
TRUMP MORAL CODE
1) If it feels good to Trump it is Good.
2) See 1)
Now, let us evaluate your "takes steps to facilitate the failure of ACA that would hurt the country and its people" using Trump's Moral Code - Feels good = IS Good.
Definitely NOT immoral
Interesting thought, but I have to give Trump some credit because he is human. Maybe if he facilitated the crashing of ACA and as a result millions of people were either medically or financially hurt he would feel some remorse. But then again he is Trump so I'm probably wrong.

That's hilarious. At first I thought it was photo-shopped, but it looks like that actually happened. FOX tells it like it is!

What potential improvements? Do you tell this to yourself before going to sleep? They had 7 years to improve it and did nothing. The grand master plan (leftist) is for everything to fail and go to single payer.
Unfortunately, that won't work either. The root cause of the problem, healthcare cost is not being addressed by anyone. At some point people will have to realize that the world is not fair.
It wasn't 7 years of control in Congress, and ACA had to survive a Supreme Court case, but that's fair.
I agree, controlling healthcare cost would be a better result for everyone.

Agree. Now can you please go tell the Cheeto Jesus and Mike "God Squad"
Pence that life is not fair as it pertains to Charlie Gard? They seem awfully concerned about one sick kid in the U.K. relative to their concern for the millions of US kids on Medicaid. Seems odd, no?

What an interesting thought!
Would I,Conundrum, have made a better president that Trump. I am flattered even for the thought although I guess you were being sarcastic when you said I would be a better president.
I am going to have to think on that. But I like you using me as a measure of success.

The simplest way to control costs would be to put everyone on Medicare. Medicare is the most cost-effective health insurance in America. And it provides fantastic coverage.
The second way to control costs would be to allow the US Government to negotiate prescription drug prices. Then we could pay Canadian prices instead of getting gouged at every turn.
But as many have pointed out, neither party seems to want to actually fix the problem. So we will all continue to massively over-pay for health care.

Those ideas are a good start. Another good one would be to outlaw, retroactively, for-profit hospital chains. In the ACA, there is a provision eliminating any new Physician owned hospitals from being opened. Part of the basis of that decision was outlined in a now-famous New Yorker article written by a Harvard surgeon-Atul Gewande. In his article, Dr. Gewande put a spotlight on some hospitals (physician owned) down in Texas that where doing some highly unethical things in order to make money. While the decision to ban physician owned hospitals made some sense based on the article, the real root of the problem was profiteering off of medicine--the degrees held by the leadership / upper level management of those hospitals seems like a red herring. I mean, does anyone really think that someone with a MBA, a MHA, or a JD running a hospital is not going to have a profit motive? For profit Hospital chains are disgusting and unethical and should be banned.

Serious question- is there any reason that hospitals and drug companies would support Medicare for all? I have virtually zero experience with Medicare/Medicaid but I thought that the prices are considerably lower than insurance. Wouldn't Medicare for all massively hurt their bottom line? I assume that the medical lobby pushes both parties to, like you said, not fix the problem. But I could be wrong.
If you really want to control costs then stop treating cancer patients.
All of the life saving medical advances are extremely expensive and drive average premiums way up.
People used to get sick and die quickly and we would move on.
Now people get sick and we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on them for treatment, long term hospitalization and rehab.
Then they can't work and go on disability for another 10-20 years until they eventually die.
We either need to all chip in and help with each other's loved ones illnesses and understand it will be expensive on average or let sick people die quickly if you want to save money.
The alternative is that you hope you stay healthy and the ones you care about and push all of the costs on those that do get sick.
You win if you, your spouse, your parents, your children, your grand parents, your aunts and uncles and first cousins all stay healthy forever and die an inexpensive death.
how do you trumpers put any trust in this guy? He called the house health plan 'mean,' and as the senate bill was failing, Trump was playing with fire trucks.
And this. Classic trump. From 2012.
