That "money" from Russia will end up being laundered. Trump caught caught handing out illegal, undocumented big payouts to Russian gamblers through his casinos many years ago—early 1990s.

The above is the game being played now, except this time as "business" loans to make the laundering seem more legit. Trump knows exactly what is going on. The Russians are happy to "lend" him money because the payback is better that other options. Trump is happy because the money is very easy to get—it seems certain the "loan" paperwork is very minimal compared to US financing options.

This makes more sense then getting the collusion to stick. This is why he's shatting his pants with fear

Trump won't be squeaky clean. He got caught laundering money for Russia mobsters at his casino 25 years ago. He can cry all day he was only taking loans, but his past misdeeds make it impossible for him to claim he just didn't know.
