The difference between Obama golfing and Trump golfing is this- Obama did it purely for leisure. Trump does it as a tool to discuss deals with world leaders such as the Japanese PM. Trump is looking to build rapport, improve trade and talking shop on the links is a way to do it. Plus, the Japanese love golf. Perhaps, the Chinese and Mexican leaders will get their invites in the future.

If Trump starts golfing only with celebs and pro athletes going forward, then he deserves to be criticized.
