You don’t need a smoking gun to prove anything. Gather the evidence and let it tell the story. How many cases in this country would be lost if they needed a smoking gun to convict?

Every word is random in Trumpland.
Dems need to be careful what they wish for. Removing Trump from office by means other than being voted out could lead to 2 full terms of Mike Pence. While it would eliminate the Grand Tweeter to remove him and possibly see him indicted after the fact, I'm not sure politically that would be the best situation for the left leaning on this board.

CORRECT! If you wake up and snow covers the land, you can be pretty sure that it snowed even if you didn't see it happen.

It seems you are making a case that we should all be united and rally behind the President.
Instead, we are bickering over a trivial matter like who paid hush money for what purpose. How sad!

She is right. The air is full of pollution. It makes people sick. It's warming the planet, which causes all kinds of hardships that the polluters don't have to pay for. It's very unjust.
Do you understand how much this would cost and who would suffer the most?
Just so we're all on the same page, could you state clearly how much this would cost and who would suffer the most. A link to your favored analysis would be great.
Thanks in advance.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/andrew-c-mccarthy-why-trump-is-likely-to-be-indicted-by-manhattan-us-attorneyTypically on a day like today their top story would be something about Hillary, Bill, the migrant “invasion”, the “war on Christmas”, or something else to scare their overly fearful / hateful viewers.
That is the best most-indepth piece of reporting I have ever read from Fox. Kudos to them.
Good point about David Pecker...Pecker has been given immunity, and he easily could have provided info that Trump did indeed make these payments due to the election.

Silly boy. We don't need to know how much it will cost and what the effects will be on the middle and lower class.
We should just do it because it sounds like a good thing to do. Let someone else figure out how to pay for it down the road.

Yes. It would be a huge net gain for everyone. It's far more costly to keep polluting.
Would the cost of energy for Americans go up if we got rid of all fossil fuels?
Eventually the cost would go down to near zero. So Americans would pay practically nothing for electricity to their homes and electricity for their cars.
To get there, you would have an initial outlay to build more solar and wind infrastructure. Also, you would need grid storage and modernization of the grid itself. You could fund it in such a way that the average American wouldn't notice much of a difference in the first several years. After that, energy prices would go down to near zero.
The economic gains would be enormous. Everything becomes cheaper when transportation becomes cheaper. American factories can run cheaper with cheaper energy, which means more factory jobs. And we would sell our excess energy to other countries. Americans would be healthier with cleaner air, which lowers health care costs for everyone.
And most important, us runners would no longer have to breathe nasty exhaust fumes.
What!?!? Your a crazy libruhl. What we need is leadership that focuses solely on short term comfort / next quarter—not longterm solutions! That is the GOP—eerrrrr American—way.
