Let me take it a step further. Our primary education system is horrendous, makes for lots of dumba$$es going through the system unprepared to make the most out of a college degree but “qualifying” for loans.

color me unimpressed by Michael Flynn's supposed singing like a canary.
Dude was accused of lying to an investigator. That's not a serious crime - he's not exactly saving his tushie from decades in jail.
Flynn was apparently asked to tell a few nations that Trump will have a different foreign policy than Obama. No merde, sherlock.
What can this guy know about the stuff that could bring trump down? The financial crimes, the obstruction?
Not very much, I would guess.
Michael Cohen is the golden goose for prosecutors. He knows where the bodies are buried and who shot them in the head on Fifth Avenue.
well I just read that Flynn might be caught up in the original obstruction accusation - when trump fired comey to get relief from the Russia investigation. So if Flynn can prove some Trumpian intent to obstruct from that episode, that's something.

Flynn wasn't simply accused of lying.
After 12 months from the incident and 6 months of investigating and interrogating, he copped to a plea deal of lying. And they were going after his son, too.
So they had more on him in exchange for the plea.
The question is, what exactly did Flynn give up in exchange for a suspended sentence in a lying charge?
What can he know?
If Trump instructed him to negotiate sanctions with Russia in December 2016 in the transition, that is a very big deal.
Plus, he may know a lot about communications between the Trump campaign and Russia leading up to November 2016.
Flynn is a key to the collusion/conspiracy charges.
He could have gone down (and his kid) hard if he didn't turn on Trump.
Flynn made that plea 12 months after the incident and since then it has been another 12 months of Mueller turning the screws on him.

There are reports that Flynn stood to gain financially from lifting of Russian sanctions. That puts his lying to the FBI in a more serious light if he was using his position in government to thwart US foreign policy and make lots of money for himself.
But more importantly, Flynn was in a position to know a lot about collusion with the Russians during the 2016 election. For that part of the investigation, he was in a position to know more than Cohen.

Just keep in mind the second part of that. He won't lose supporters from any of this.
I believe the lead of the initial phase of the Russia Hoax, Peter Strzok, said it best. In a text to his married lover, Lisa Page, on May 19, 2017, he said:
"There's no big there there."
Lisa Page confirmed in her closed-door interview that the message was regarding the Russia case.

yeah I'm pretty sure that was before the dozens of indictments, guilty pleas and convictions, but carry on with your delusion.

A college education is not needed for all people or even most people.
There is tremendous value in a college education that goes far beyond training for a job. The number one benefit of college is that you learn how to learn. You learn to think critically.
If everyone was willing and able to complete a rigorous college degree then that would be a great benefit to society.
But that's a big "if".
I understand the value. That is why I went to college and I sent both of my kids to college. BUT, not everyone is capable of getting a college degree, and not everyone can learn how to learn in that setting. We should not hold a college degree up as the end all be all. That makes a whole segment of the population feel left out. The dudes who renovated my bathroom didn't need a college degree. A whole host of jobs don't require a college degree, and they are filled with people who would not be successful in college. We should give them more respect for what they do rather than constantly telling them that they failed because they did not go to college.

Delusion is right. Trump is in huge trouble and should be very worried.

Mueller just recommended that Flynn receive NO prison times. This, almost certainly, means that Mueller has the goods.
It means what Flynn did was not even a tenth as bad as what Hillary did.
I'm going to go way out on a limb here and state that I don't know.
I don't know when Mueller will wrap things up.
I don't know what his final report will say.
I don't know what the consequences will be for Trump.
I do know that everyone else on here knows all of these things. That makes me an outlier. Hence, my going out on a limb.

Hey, it's Lying Gary! Way to pitch in here, Lying Gary.
But you can do so much better. We've all seen it from you before. Come on, give us some more grand Deep State conspiracy theories, Lying Gary. We need more than "as bad as what Hillary did" to keep us entertained.

Yes, you should hang all your hopes and dreams on that text. I hope it makes you sleep well at night knowing that your hero couldn't possibly be guilty of anything. After all, Peter Strzok sent a text in May of 2017. There's that.
Yes. That's why I said it's a big "if".

We don't know that. Most of the sentencing memo was redacted. Undoubtedly, the redacted parts are the juicy parts.

It's also a signal to witnesses that Tiny is not the only one who can grant a "pardon".
Mueller has shown that loyalty to the nation and to the truth can set you free. Loyalty to the president might get you a pardon down the road, but only if that pardon serves Tiny's self-interest.
Who would you trust?
So when President Trump suggests pardon for keeping silence, he is criticized for "interfering with the Investigation." But when Mueller offers pardon for telling him what he likes to hear, that's considered "loyalty to the nation and the truth"? What kind of double standard is that?
The bottom line is that American people elected President Trump, but not Mueller. It's obvious that we should trust American people .
