The report talks about the rest of the century. We can't do anything about the climate right now and we don't need to be terrified that some island will flood in the year 2100. The warning about mosquito-borne illnesses is a perfect example. Al Gore's 2006 movie warned us that the rate of mosquito-borne illness would skyrocket over the next 10 years thanks to global warming. Instead, such diseases dropped by 40-50% in that timeframe because it turns out his weather simulations don't determine how human civilization will advance.
The report also talks about the terrible effects that are happening now.
And you are lying about disease vectors. Infection rates have indeed skyrocketed. Al was right.
Is it your position that it's just fine to let global temperatures continue to rise?
Will you continue to argue that you are smarter than the scientific community?
No even worse, they are caught up mainly by the “smugness” of the scientific community, or anyone with a degree really. Their leaders have been saying for decades that stupid and ignorant is actually ok and to trust that above any funny math.
