you know what - trumpers are gonna watch that and vote even harder for trump and hate cnn even more. they'll see disrespect of the president and they aren't wrong.
people who think acosta is some hero journalist have to realize it is counterproductive - he's just showboating rather than doing actual journalism.

That's right. Acosta is making a show of himself- he loves the limelight and being the most visible WH correspondent if them all. He wants the big prize/fat contract to host his own show on whatever network that decides to lure him away.

I can only think of 2-3 R senators who would vote to impeach if Mueller is fired. Sasse and Romney. The rest won't.
All you libs hoping for an impeachment. Bahahahaha!!!!!! It's never gonna hapoen.
The delusion among all of you is just unbelievable. May your triggered little heads continue to explode. Congrats on your House win, though. Golf clap.
Mueller never

The biggest winners are the likes of Hillary. The deficit is now unsustainable thanks to you forfeiting all of your principles for a man who wears makeup.
The deficit can only be addressed of if NYC and SF capitalists divert money away from subsidizing red state socialists and towards debt repayment. These Venezuelan programs that benefit red states will be cut. NYC and SF liberal elites will gain greater power. But at least you got your emotions tickled! Lol!

America does not want Bernie style socialism, which is what the "progressives" are selling here. America isn't buying the "More free stuff" message. You party continues to lurch to the far left. Keep that up and your party will die a slow death.

Ha.
You think Trump would put someone in charge who would recuse himself again?
The new AG's job is specifically to cover for Trump for everything.

Nope. The DOJ can bury it, completely legally

I disagree 100%. White House correspondents have long had to try to get as many questions asked as possible and try to get an answer. Acosta isn't showboating at all. Sam Donaldson asked questions like that. Wolf Blitzer did it. April Ryan does it. Any journalist who gets to be in that gaggle has earned that position, and they have done so by not being intimidated by a President. It wasn't the manner in which the questions were asked that Trump had a problem with. He had a problem with the content of the questions, and they were reasonable questions from a reporter to Trump on this day.
Other presidents have not liked dealing with the Press either, but none of them went on a very aggressive personal attack of the reporter. For Trump to lecture anyone about being rude is rich.
I say so again...he has lost his freakin' mind.

It might not "hapoen", but it WILL happen. You are on record saying Trump will not be impeached, and you will be proven wrong. He just added to the list of examples of Obstruction of Justice today by firing Sessions, something an innocent Trump would never have done. Mueller's report will show he did many things that are impeachment-worthy, and the House will impeach him...again, unless there is some sort of cheating (demonstrable) that none of us can fathom at this point or aliens from space come down here and make the House NOT impeach him.
As I pointed out to you before, since you are a conspiracy theorist, you should at a minimum believe that those dirty Democrats just have it in for Trump and will now impeach him because they have the majority in the House.
His blow up at Jim Acosta just shows how terrified Trump is. He keeps screaming "no collusion" and "hoax" as if that will make it true. An innocent Trump would be praising Mueller and his team for catching so many criminals in this probe. He is guilty as hell, and you know it. You wish that he weren't, but he's a criminal, brother. He has pulled the wool over your eyes.
They WILL impeach him, and it will be for just cause.

I didn't say he would do it. I said it would be the only reasonable thing for him to do. Whitaker (and whomever else follows) had better be very careful about what they do with regard to Mueller and this investigation. Everyone Trump touches gets indicted or pleads guilty, and we aren't done yet. No President is worth going to jail for. Whitaker better watch his step.
note that pre election 538 predicted a 36 seat pickup in the house and that is exactly what it looks like will happen.
still early tho - CA is a mess, and other races are going to take a few days.
Polls nailed that one.

The new guy can fire Mueller or meddle in the investigation.
Obstruction to come.
In the impeachment, they can subpoena Mueller and ask all he knows.
The democratic leadership plans to live air hearings with Mueller if Trump has one of his idiots fire him.
The democratic leadership plans to obtain and publicly release Trump's tax returns. Trump claims he will not hand them over, but he does not have the authority to do that. The House can obtain the tax returns for anyone in the country. Trump will have to claim his tax returns are fake to get out of any jams, or he could take the Trump road and state that all fines and penalties for "errors" made by the IRS will be paid for by him—meaning that he will ask his fans to pay the tax penalties for him.

Now that Mueller no longer reports to Rosenstein, but to the new acting AG, he cannot issue any reports to anyone but the AG. The acting AG is not recused and is therefore in control.
Trump outsmarts them again!

Yep. Polls in the 20 years prior to the 2016 election were pretty close too, not just with vote totals but actually with who would win.
So, what was different about 2016? Hmm...I don't know...maybe the guy who lives in the hot place? The Devil, Beelzebub, Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness, the Evil One...SATAN!!!
Nope! Just Russia helping Trump's campaign cheat its way to victory.
Conspiracy will be proven. Don Jr., Kushner, and Manafort are going down for that for sure, and Roger Stone is likely too also, and probably more people as well.

it's the financial crimes more than the conspiracy. Always about money with spanky. That's why Spanks is fighting so hard - impeachment is one thing but arrest and taking all his money away is far worse to him.
Repubs would rather see it all burn than have their orange leader in trouble. McConnel could bring this to the floor. He won't.

Tell it like it is. Trump country is funded by coastal elites. Period. There's no way to argue it. It's the reason trump doesn't pull out a white board and explain policy, rather puts on makeup and starts the wave. You are a socialist. Say it outloud: you are a taker.
And we've also learned that you don't actually care about foreign policy, after trump declared that he has fallen in love with Kim jung after receiving love letters, and after he sided with the Saudi Muslim radical islamic terrorists. You simply don't care about this stuff and you won't respond to me because I don't perform the tickle monster on your emotions LOL. American masculinity is DEAD

We will see what Whitaker does. He'd better watch his step. The Democrat-controlled House will have power to investigate and subpoena, and he puts himself at a real risk of being charged with Obstruction of Justice if he curtails Mueller.
^This was posted yesterday. Talk about spot on......we'll see but I bet the above poster is correct. Next AG will be Lindsey Graham.
