A blue wave would be Democrats winning a clear majority of the seats up for election.
That would be regaining the House.
There are 35 seats up in the Senate.
Democrats will win at least 20 of those elections. Up to 28, possibly.
There are a large number of states that Trump carried in 2016 where the senate race this year will be won by a Democrat.
The majority for Democrats in the senate is a bit out of reach but not impossible.
They need to net two.
NV and AZ are two Republican incumbencies that could go blue.
I don't count out TX either (since I keep bringing it up)
To counter that, Republicans really need Cramer to cover and beat Heitkamp in ND.
They are also hoping to oust McCaskill in MO but are having trouble there.
A 50/50 senate keeps Republicans in control because of Pence, but it would be a real bad result for them if that happens.
