But why are all racists Republicans?

Part of the answer is that Democrats have taken a hard stand. We used to have racists in the Democratic party, such as the old Dixiecrats. We simply told them they aren't wanted any more. We drew a red line that can not be crossed in our party.

When we didn't want them, Republicans gave racists a home. Republicans said, "That's OK. You can sleep in the guest room."
