Nope. Not for me. 2001 called. It wants its salary back.
After 13 years in the work force you were only making $71K?????
That's embarrassing.

12 years including some part time work while I was in graduate school, but ok. I was in another line of work then, but if you're embarrassed by it, so be it. Does show what you know though as $71,000 in 2001 in Central Ohio was pretty good.

He can't stop. He has to seek the approval of others.
Nope...just of your mother! Ha! A joke of course. Your mother is too ugly...again with the joking. Ask yourself this...how is anything I ever post here done to win the approval of others? If I were up for that, I would be agreeable to what everyone says, and clearly I am not agreeable to what everyone says here.
I post for the people! I post for justice! I don't care who that bothers, ever.

13 years AND a graduate degree and only making $71K.
That's even more embarrassing.

Not sure why you are embarrassed by this, but ok.

Why was the thread title ever changed anyway?
It went way past the inauguration phase.
The original thread title makes more sense to 30 plus thousand posts made since the inauguration.

Me upon receiving my undergrad in 2001:
Work experience: None
Graduate Degree: None
Starting Salary: $66,500
Just sayin'.

Cool. Nice going. Not exactly a straight up comparison as salaries both for new hires and more experienced people ultimately typically in a corporate world merge closer and closer together. I also bought a house three years before that while you were still in college that I now own outright that is now worth three times what I paid for it. So, I locked in a low mortgage before you even graduated so that even if you made the same as me in 2001 and not ~$5,000 less, your outgo would be more than mine. When I graduated from college, my first apartment rent in the SF Bay area was $400 a month. Just apples to oranges here really.
Also, like I said, I am not in that business anymore. I struck out on my own really only to have more freedom, but I have ended up making a lot more than I did then and than I would be now if I stayed doing what I was doing in 2001.
But, cool story.

If the people want answers and I feel like answering, I will. I do that at my whim at all times regardless of what anyone else tells me to do...just evidence that I surely don't post here for anyone's acceptance. I neither need nor want any acceptance from any of you. Blame the question askers if you don't like the direction.
The troll's objective is not to get answers, it is to get continued responses. The content is irrelevant.
You can't "win" such a "discussion", the best you can do is not play their game. If you'd like to continue to lose, I can't stop you.

Who says I'm trying to "win" anything? I know they are trolls and I know the motivation of trolls, but they can't get to me. I am not bothered one bit by anything they say because it is clearly bunk. I have the time today to respond, and I feel like doing so for the moment, so I will.

Damn - Rigged is not even trying to hide it anymore, he used to sprinkle posts with his handle just to try to throw people off, but for some reason this flagpole income topic has him totally unhinged. Wonder what is the source of so much insecurity that is leading to such strong obsession over a virtual person.

Yeah, I only mentioned that 333 jillion times 100's of pages ago, when you were still posting, yet your feeble mind couldn't fathom it then.
