lol, oh the irony. Have you EVER said anything that isn't straight outta the alt-right/breitbart/fox news playbook?? I'd say, maybe one or twice at best. In fact, right on cue:
"A useful idiot. Those were globalists in the crowd that just hate "America First."
Gee, I've never heard THAT before.

Trump acting Presidential recently, has pumped his approval rating to almost 44%. RCP average
I think this Kavanaugh stuff helps Trump because he mostly stays out of the way while another white male is accused. If Trump were center stage every day then no doubt he would have done or said something to lower his rating.
The United Nations speech merely confirms his laughingstock caliber to the rest of the world but Americans won't ding him on that.
The 538 approval number is up to 41.3% after dropping to a low of 39.9% a few weeks ago.
BTW, I am sure Kavanaugh will be confirmed. The GOP is in a confrontational ruthless Al Davis mode of, "We take what we want," and not the cliche "Take what the defense gives us."
The Supreme Court is too big of a priority for the base for them to care about any allegations, minus definitive truth via video.
Besides, there is very little risk. Anyone asserting it is a risk toward the midterm has forgotten how drastically this presidency differs from the norm. Once Trump has the spotlight on himself again he can manage 3 or 4 major controversies via actions or words before the midterm. This Kavanaugh confirmation will be a distant vague memory.
I think Collins, Murkowski and Flake vote No, which will free up Democrats in Red states to also vote no.

Did you watch his speech? I’m basing my statement on what I heard him say directly, our president embarassing himself on the global stage once again. No one respects him, and the tough guy talk is total bull that only gets idiots like you perky. He can’t even target an audience properly - how did he not understand he wasn’t going to a political rally? Fvcking IQ45. Globalists? Hahaha right from the FOX playbook. What is trump then? Yes, a laughingstock - literally.
Not sure there can be a middle ground between Americans. but from outside the laughter wasn't as bad as people make it out. I mean, his speech was terrible but he's a terrible public speaker. His biggest flaw is his total inability to adjust his rhetoric to the audience he is addressing. He's got one theme only, how great he is. But, yes, while he was laughed at initially for his ridiculous boasts, which was embarrassing, that laugh was not that loud. It wasn't until he said it wasn't the reaction he expected (I would add it came across good natured) he got the second bigger laugh. Anyway, for a guy who is a truly terrible speaker and usually cannot take any kind of negative reaction, I think it was remarkable how well he handled the initial laughter and got a bigger laugh for it. Perhaps unintentional, but I thought he handled it well.
And yes, it was funny how Fox news cut out the laughter, but what were they going to say about it? It's Fox News, which is an opinion station not a news station. Their viewers have no interest in the laughter part so it makes sense they would show different highlights to their target audience.

I agree with you on that. Ted Cruz doesn't deserve to be chased out of a restaurant.
Democrats in the red states have to vote No. The conventional wisdom the other way has been wrong throughout. If they play it safe and strategic they will be seen as wimps and as betraying the party. The energy right now is with the Gillum wing, as evidenced by how well he is polling in Florida despite being seen as the outside and the underdog in the primary, since supposedly he was too liberal to be elected statewide. Same dynamic transfers to lesser extent throughout the country. Those candidates are moderates but if they stray on this vote the campaign enthusiasm is gone. They are done.
Note that Beto O'Rourke in the Texas senate debate with Cruz didn't even pretend to be anything other than a progressive. He won't win but he properly realized that remaining true to himself and the more liberal wing is his only chance.
Claire McCaskill is in trouble in Missouri since Hillary only managed 38% in that state. Missouri has been trending red and more red. But McCaskill correctly handicapped the situation and already announced she is voting No on Kavanaugh. A Yes vote wouldn't gain many moderate rural swing votes but it would kill her in Kansas City and St Louis and Springfield and Columbia.

Kavanaugh will be confirmed
Mueller never
Clownpole forever
1) Kavanaugh has no shot now that Avenatti has client(s) who will come forward and say that Kavanaugh and Mark Judge were involved in some very inappropriate behavior.

3) The clown is done.
1. Uh oh. Massive fail by Avenatti! He fell for a 4chan troll. "...rumors swirled that he might have been suckered by a 4Chan user, Avenatti suddenly locked down his Twitter account and backtracked that his prized gang rape victim might not materialize."
2. Mueller never
3. Clownpole forever
I wonder what makes McConnell so confident his Republican lackeys will confirm regardless of what testimony they here?
Regardless, it shows great disrespect to all women to dismiss these allegations publicly without hearing them out.
It’s like a judge announcing how he will pronounce a defendant before the trial.

Why is it that you never check anything out? Avenatti's twitter account is not locked down, and he says there that this is all false and he and his client are planning to continue with their plan.
Dude...check stuff out before you post...really.

McConnell is a disgraceful pig. The ultimate revenge on him will be to impeach his Kavanaugh--boo hoo. Dems can add four more SCOTUS seats to reduce the workload. Then Dems can ram trough: Obama, Hillary, Kamala Harris, Garland Merrick, and one other democrat to replace lying Kavanaugh. That would make it 9:4 on the SCOTUS with the minority Trumpublicans left to waste away into dust forevermore.

Seriously? You either need some serious meds or grow up.
Kavanaugh's odds of confirmation have dropped from 71.4% to 46.5% since Friday.
This was after the second woman came forward accusing him of sexual assault. This doesn't take into consideration Avenatti's victim who will likely come forward tomorrow. Avenatti has said they might pursue criminal charges against Kavanaugh, and Democrats are saying that even if he gets a seat, they will likely investigate further and push for impeachment.
Expect to see the odds for him to get confirmed drop even further.
I sure hope Trump never calls me a "fine person", because everyone he says that about is a criminal or a creep or both.
