you are giving zero probability to Trump walking away after losing an election in 2020 or finishing 2 terms in 2024?
zero? honestly?
Trump is an autocrat. He will never admit to losing an election. The only remedy to get him out will be one of the four options above.
Trump was ready to declare that the 2016 election was rigged. If beaten in 2020, he will again say that the election was rigged. The difference is that this time, he has nuclear weapons.
OK, maybe I spoke too soon.
Honestly though, I still don't believe that you are that dumb.
Trump will leave in one of the following ways (with 99.9% certainty):
1) Serve through 2020 but fail to run for re-election. Step aside in 2021, perhaps not as graciously as is customary but without being physically dragged out.
2) Serve through 2020 but lose in his bid for re-election. Step aside in 2021, perhaps not as graciously as is customary but without being physically dragged out.
3) Win re-election in 2020. Then step aside in 2025, perhaps not as graciously as is customary but without being physically dragged out.
4) With or without re-election, be forced out of office by impeachment or pending impeachment. At that point he will step aside, perhaps not as graciously as is customary but without being physically dragged out.
5) Die of natural causes while still in office.
Of your four:
"1. Trump dies in office
2. Trump is thrown in prison
3. Trump escapes into exile
4. Trump is taken out back and shot"
only the first is a realistic possibility.
