Nothing would make Putin happier. That is exactly why I think Russia might favor Democrats in 2018.
But you haven't thought this through. A state of emergency is called to put down civil unrest. Trump would be calling in the military against his own voters. Not gonna happen.
The poster who says Trump will declare a state of emergency is clearly a nut, like all Trump supporters. However, I think it is highly likely that Trump will make a serious attempt to declare some sort of emergency powers before he is done. This is highly likely to happen. I have studied fascist movements my entire professional life and let me tell you--this is going to happen. I think the US will emerge victorious but Trump will make the effort. If you doubt me ask someone in the high end real estate market in New York or London. Rich people are making arrangements. It is one of the best kept secrets. Trump and his mob of transnational oligarchs will not go without a MAJOR final play.

Well, he'd better believe it. Not everyone who ever worked for him or with him will kiss his butt forever. He has shown to be disloyal to just about everyone he has had relationships with. Will be part of his downfall.
Mueller is coming.

There will be pockets of rednecks protesting, but the rule of law will prevail, and Trump will be removed from office or he will resign.

Ridiculous. It's now well over half way thru July.
If you were right, I'd admit it in a heartbeat and with total sincerity, but I truly don't see that happening. Trump will finish his first term.
Flagpole: Republicans rarely protest. That’s a liberal thing. Most republicans are to busy working or providing/spending time with their family. Personally, I would never waste a day off to go protest. I’ll just vote on Election Day. That’s the loudest voice in the end.
When/probably if you are wrong; (because I find Alan Dershowitz the most credible knowledge) , , are you going to do if you are wrong? Will you actually admit it here?

He better admit it and without excuses too.
I'll admit to being wrong if he's right and if I knew where he lived I'd send it to him in writing with a token gift card and probably never doubt him again (yes, I really would).
But I don't think he'll be even close to his prediction/guarantee.
Yet I do believe he's gotta be a fairly decent person but we have very different beliefs...which makes the world go 'round.

Wrong about what? About Trump paying for his crimes? I will not be wrong. His political career will be over. He will face very big fines at the very least, and he will avoid jail only because of a plea bargain and a pardon from Pence. I have said he will not make it to the end of his first term. If he does, I obviously will be wrong about that. I am more interested in justice no matter how long it takes, so if I have to wait for Mueller to finish his investigation until after Trump's first term, then so be it.
Alan Dershowitz is a one-issue person who can not see straight on Trump. He is not one to consider most credible. Better to choose his smarter student Jeffrey Toobin.
1) You are right that I am a decent person.
2) I will be right that Trump can not survive the investigations. He is simply too criminal.
3) Don't send rich people gift cards...just as a general rule. I appreciate the idea, but not a good idea.
Mueller is coming.

Jeffrey toobin? You just inadvertently admitted you are a cnn/msnbc guy. I knew it with all the stuff you post on here. I felt like you were just copy and pasting their script.
Alan Dershowitz is a liberal who voted for Clinton. He’s not Gregg Jarrett. Either way I know you will probably be wrong but at the same time they have to find something on one of his ex advisor secretary or something. Way way way too much money spent to find nothing at all. You won’t get the President though.
The Russia thing seems absurd and if anything trumped up. That said, if anything shows the seedy side of Trump it is the payoffs to cover his sexual indiscretions. Unless he were to lie about it in an FBI interview I doubt there is anything that will derail him serving his first term. And at this point Trump appears to be headed for a second term.

Just as a general rule, rich people don’t live next door to renters who shoot bottle rockets from their crack and set up home gyms in the yard. Most live in areas that don’t allow that behavior.
You outed yourself as low to lower middle class with that anecdote to try and make Trump supporters look bad.
All those years of touting how rich you are down the drain with one simple post (although a lot of your other posts about your lifestyle have given it away as well).

I agree that it seems absurd, though a better word would be surreal. It doesn’t, however, seemed “trumped up”. Did you read the details in the recent Muller indictment of those 12 Russians? There is no doubt that the Russians poured A TON of resources into trying to influence the election in 2016–beyond what they had done in prior elections.
There is almost certainly something significant that happened between the Trump Campaign and Russia. It also seems likely based on how weak and submissive Trump appeared in Putin’s presence (vs. how he seemed at NATO and the G7 with allies) that Russia has dirt on Trump or someone in his family.
I do think it is possible that Trump himself had no knowledge of illegal contact/interactions/help from the Russians during the campaign but people who he hired (and possibly some who are related to him) almost certainly did. At best, Trump is incompetent and has very bad judgment In regards to who he hired for his campaign. At worst, he is a traitor who knowingly accepted help from a foreign power that is hostile to many of the ideals on which this country is found. Neither is good but only the latter would be impeachable.

LOL . . . a am indeed Hardloper. I post using a VPN so there is no way for the moderators to know it is me. Hehehehehehehe.
LOL . . . It seems that Trump's team leaked information that Muller has a tape of Trump talking about paying off Stormy Daniels.
“President Trump’s lawyers found out this tape existed. For obvious reasons they realized it may be a pretty ugly thing. So today the president’s lawyers themselves appear today have leaked the existence of this tape to get out ahead of this story." said Rachel Maddow on a TV broadcast.
Well, Cohen's team claims they did not leak anything about a tape. And Muller's team doesn't leak anything. The major leakers have always been on Team Trump. I think Maddow is spot on.

LOL . . . Giuliani could not help himself. He confirmed to the NY TImes the tape’s existence, but dismissed its significance by saying that it was less than two minutes long.
Giuliani is the leaker of the tape information.

Thank you Donald Trump!
There are plenty of amazing litmus tests available at any given point in time. But this one is awesome right now. Anyone who actually believes in thousands/millions of illegal votes or double votes doesn't have two functioning brain cells.
It is all time hilarity that Trump has convinced so many braindead devotees toward the legitimacy of those claims

1) Alan Dershowitz is a liberal, but he's a one-issue person, and that is Trump's attitude and action toward Israel.
2) Way too defensive of you to say we have spent too much money to find nothing...35 people and companies indicted, 5 guilty pleas and one in jail along with no doubt that Russia meddled in our election to get Trump elected is not nothing. It is worth it now even if Trump is found innocent.
3) Want to talk about money spent on nothing, that's all the golf Trump plays that we pay millions for.
4) I listen to all news. I listen to Fox to keep abreast of what they say. I listen to Rush and Glenn Beck. How can I know who is full of sh!t if I don't listen to it all? MSNBC is the most left biased of them all, Fox is obviously the most Trump biased of them all although Shep Smith and Chris Wallace do play it as journalists should.
5) Trump is just too unethical with too many investigations going on for him to be exonerated.
Mueller is coming.
