I'm not believing what the Russians say.
I am reporting the fact that they said Trump made verbal agreements.
I am concerned that Trump actually would make deals with no other US representative present.
We will see what actions come of this and how the US military is directed regarding Russia and Syria from this point.
He can make executive orders based on verbal deals.

I think he wins in 2020. I haven't seen any evidence that his voters have turned on him, if anything it seems like they support him even more despite everything. And I don't really see any Republicans challenging him. The best the dems can hope for is a candidate stronger than Hillary.
Ohio is still Trump country!!!!

What do you regard Christianity's ethos to be, given how you address other human beings?

LOL . . . it was pointed out to you Trumpettes that Ohio is LOSING electoral votes. They are down to 18 from a peak of 26. It is a DYING and SHRINKING state.

I don't know if that will make him the 46th or 47th president by that time.

Trump will quit. Pence will take over. Trump's last act will be to grant himself, his family, and buisnesses , permanent, irrevocable, immunity for any, and all, acts prior to, during, and post his presidency. He will put himself above the law for the remainder of time.

Do you believe that Trump made verbal agreements with the Russians behind closed doors?

Not disagreeing necessarily, a Trump win in 2020 wouldn't surprise me. But neither would a Trump loss.
First of all, he is the king of chaos, and from day to day we move from one fiasco to the next. Who knows what's going to happen between now and 11/20. He so far has been able to weather every controversy, but we'll see if that changes. There's lots of things that could happen that could shake his support (the economy tanking being one of those things).
Also, keep in mind that he beat a terrible candidate by a razor thin margin, notwithstanding the ultimate electoral vote count. I read that the election turned on about 78K votes in 3 states. That's a miniscule margin in the grand scheme of things. So while his hardcore support will stick with him through thick and thin, his hardcore support is and will continue to be a minority. It's the people who held their noses when they voted for Trump in 2016 who the Dem nominee will need to win over. And that's not out of the question, assuming the Dems put up a candidate who is better (much better) than Hillary.

No way he gets the nomination over Clinton.

Funny you ask this question. A story was published suggesting minority members of some congressional committee has asked the chairperson to request a non-public hearing with Trump's interpreter during the meeting. It's not going to happen because the chairperson is Republican. But, interesting nonetheless.
It turns out beloved far Right politician Scott Walker had meetings with Russia's newest celebrity, Mariia Butina. Boy she gets around!!!
Rumors are that Mitch McConnell accepted millions from a Russian Oligarch's shell company prior to the 2016 election. Good thing the oligarch has dual citizenship or that would have been trouble! Apparently, McConnell has some history of being involved in Congress' response to reports that Russians were influencing election politics in 2016. Nothing will likely come from this.

The more general conspiracy theory here is the thirst for Mueller's investigation to end is coming as much from some in Congress who fear they will be found to have accepted perfectly legal campaign contributions from Russian oligarchs.

I believe so, yes.
What matters more than what I believe is understanding why Trump went in there without advisers.
Trump has been accused of conspiring with this man and made a public event of the two of them speaking in private.
Then he came out of it being more defensive of Putin than his own intelligence people.
It won't take long to prove if he had a verbal agreement.
He will either announce something or we will see a shift in our approach to Syria.
Or he could go back on his word to Putin and we would never know.
I'd like to see a denial from Trump about the Russian version of a verbal deal.

He has lied throughout. Shocking development
This is astounding. The evidence was unequivocal that Russia intervened in the election on his behalf. He freaking knew and has been covering it up from day one. This presidency is a fraud.
The evidence came from a top secret source close to Putin, whom the CIA went to great lengths to cover for, including hiding his name from Obama's daily briefing. The fact that this information is now coming to light, even though it was known nearly two years ago, appears to be evidence that that the source has been burned or killed. If this is the case, the question is: who blew his cover?
A private one-on-one meeting with a foreign leader who helped get you elected would be a great opportunity to burn a top secret source...

So, you believe that Clinton will be rightfully seated as president with Trump and Pence tossed out for stealing the election. That makes sense. She will them run for reelection in 2020.
