You are arguing that Trump is only president of the people who voted for him and therefore only their opinion is meaningful?
I mean I understand the political side - that if he wants to be reelected he needs to please his base - but he's pres of all 310 million Americans so his historic unpopularity is quite important and shows his embarassing failure.
