Today, July 3, 2018, we are just that much closer to the end of the Trump Presidency...an end that will not come on his terms.
When the sh!t hits the fan, it will be a bad day for Trumpers, but it will be ok. You will make it through.
The next President, no matter the party, needs to address the concerns of Trumpers. Trumpers are still Americans after all, and our political leaders should strive to be leaders for all Americans.
Civility and decorum should return at least to levels we had BEFORE Trump began his campaign. Maxine Waters made a big mistake in her suggestion of last week, and it was good that Democrat leaders admonished her for it. What she said is not helpful, so it is not just Trumpers who need to be more civil.
I do believe it will happen. Populism rears its ugly head once in a while, and it is almost always short-lived. Donald Trump is the most crass uncivil President we have ever had, so it stands to reason that the next one will be better in that way (and likely every other way).
In the case of Trump, his populist approach won't be allowed to fizzle out through the normal course, because he is a criminal and will be found out to be such.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
