Good idea on paper. But how would you get China or India for example to agree to rules and regulations that would hurt their economies and benefit the US?

Fair enough. Why didn't Obama do it? he had 8 years.
Im glad we agree that China is playing unfair though its good to find common ground.
huh? Obama set up the TPP as an organization to counter the economic force of China. Exactly, exactly for this reason. It was jsut getting going when Trump pulled us out of it. Obama did all the work but Rump wrecked it, out of spite, before it could be used to push back against China.
as for your second point, I don't disagree with Trump on everything. I am a moderate - generally pro-business, anti-deficit, strong dollar, pro trade. I'm a democrat because I think the gummint has a role to regulate the economy and help poor people. And I don't think religion should be worn on your sleeve when you are in elected service.
You also have nothing. Please share some insight. Your response is no better than his.
Dude, you are lying. Where is your proof? On the other hand there is plenty of proof about FBI, DOJ and past Administration's senior officials lying. Fake news. I have news for you. You sound like a lunatic.

Yes, this. Trade agreements need to ensure corporate accountability so that they can't shop around the globe for the cheapest, most easily exploited labor they can find. There need to be minimum labor standards, more robust regulatory enforcement, and giant multi-nationals need to be held legally responsible for their supply chains. If workers aren't protected abroad, they can't really be protected here, either. Unfortunately, it's hard to build international worker solidarity when roughly half the country sees foreign workers as job-stealing, sh*thole dwellers, rather than allies against the global corporate race to the bottom.
There’s a perfect example of Democrats disagreeing on something. I don’t like this approach, but it’s well argued and is valid. See trumpers, you are allowed to deviate from your orange god. You can admit his stance on immigration is in humane and suggest something different, or you can keep confirming you are a bunch of scumbags for being ok with inflicting permanent damage on innocent and harmless children.

And how do you account for global sales? You want American companies to build products in America. And then you want to export American made to other countries without any consideration for those countries workers. The world you seem to want is one where each country makes its own product in complete isolation--no importing or materials; no exporting of finished products. That model of economics is a dead end. In fact it has never work since the industrial age began. Trade is what made the world what it is today.
BTW: What is your position on people like Trump who build resorts properties in other countries? In a closed trade world that would never be allowed. No foreign ownership of anything.
I'm confused. Who are you talking about when you say money laundering, obstruction of justice, collusion (in the form of conspiracy and/or bribery) with Russia and maybe other countries, bank fraud, wire fraud, emoluments clause violation, campaign finance violation all the crazy Democrats in power?

This one has basically repeated the same post for weeks. Is he no longer on the mailing list?
So, you think that things like "money laundering, obstruction of justice, collusion (in the form of conspiracy and/or bribery) with Russia and maybe other countries, bank fraud, wire fraud, emoluments clause violation, campaign finance violation" are merely talking points and that the list of such talking points should change weekly in order to keep it interesting for you?
You appear to be a really deep thinker.

Here are some facts for the lunatics. DOJ and FBI senior officials are/were corrupt. None of this would have come out had Hillary become president. Trump bringing the needed deodorant to politics. This will get worse.
