Liberals coming out in droves today against Trump bringing home the remains of MIAs.
Have you guys no shame.
Moran- A group as large and crazy as "the Libs" doesn't get owned without there being good reason/facts/truth that allow it to occur. To think otherwise is even more crazy than what you YOU believe "the deep state" opinions are.
You and/or Flagpole have such short memories. WELL before Trump, the Left was painting the Right as racist. Sure, maybe they' didn't jump to it as their first strategy back then (because they still had the "middle class" to lean on), but since the 2004 election the Left has been 100% Identity Politics driven. "George Bush doesn't care about black people" really pushed it to the forefront in 2005/06.
Trade and the fight against the "America first" strategy is unbelievable as well. In the 80s, 90s, and 00s- including the Obama years- the "middle class" on the Left echoed what Trump said during the campaign and today. And they were embraced by Dems as the backbone of the American economy and the Democratic Party. Republicans would push for free trade, globalism, outsourcing, anything good for business (which was "evil", of course), and the Left was pro-union (is there anything that's more protectionist than unions?! (no)) and said we need to prioritize the worker over profits/CEO pay. Those are the facts of the Dem strategy back then.
The problem was, the Dems never actually DID anything to support them. Much like their relationship with minorities, they talked a good game to get votes, but then didn't deliver. That's why some 400 counties that voted for Obama went for Trump. Race has nothing to do with it. These "normal Americans" just want someone that they believe actually is fighting for their interests, and not those of people from other countries. Is that really that hard to understand?
You guys on the Left better hope Trump doesn't start really going after the black vote. He's just wading into the shallow end at the moment. If he has that race summit that's being discussed, and then delivers even the most low-hanging fruit there is, you guys are DONE.
Oops. That was ignorant on my part . I see that the issue is all about the thousands and thousands of parents who told Trump to bring their boys who died between 1950 and 1953 home. Shame on Trump for being so dumb as to claim such nonsense. Only Trumpers have brought up, over and over again, an attempt to divert Trump's stupid claim into being against bring the boys back from war of long ago.
Trump = Bigly Business Failure
Trade war could wipe out gains of GOP tax law, former top Trump economic adviser says
Gary Cohn, who served as Trump's director of the National Economic Council, said that retaliatory tariffs between countries could drive up inflation and prompt American consumers to take on more debt, possibly pushing the country into another economic downturn.

Right wingers came out during election time to support a man who disparaged a war hero.
Not to mention a handicapped person, women etc

^^^This is it. Trumpers have zero standing to point the finger at the other side because what they openly support stands for all the things their party was supposedly against, and some. It's pure hypocrisy. And we aren't talking about one or two incidents or statements like they try to pin on HRC/Obama - we are talking about chronic unethical behavior, lying, abuse of authority, harassment, divisive actions, and endless embarrassment. Nobody, not even all the rotten Democrats put together is going to top the orange one.
And since they love obsessing over irrelevant people, lets not forget that almost any one of these instances of lying or misbehavior by Obama would have caused a total outrage and calls for impeachment. Now it happens on a DAILY basis without fail, and they worship their dear leader all the more for it. A recurring justification amongst Trumpers in the media is "that's just the way Trump talks and behaves". Talk about sick.

Analysis | It's not very likely that parents of Korean War veterans asked Trump to repatriate their children
Good job misstating the issue. What pleasure do you derive from promoting fascism?

I'd argue that the recurring messages are astroturf. We know the Trump campaign paid for supporters, so, it's not a huge leap to hire people to keep their message going. The way the responses are formulated suggests very weak English skills and more or less a copy/paste operation. Gary is real, though.

It is shameful to act as it Trump made fun of a handicapped person *because of* their handicap. He was making fun of him for being spineless, backpeddling and criticizing him. Trump's motions were the exact same motions he used when describing other "stupid" people 3-4 months earlier on the campaign trail. There's plenty of video evidence on YouTube.
"Women"? Seriously? Women are off limits now? "Boy, the women's [equality] movement just can't make strides in the area of [politics] now, can it?" (Seinfeld ref). Can we only make fun of men now? Oh sorry, I mean, "white men."
Which war hero are you talking about? McCain? Or the made up "attack" on one of the Clinton attorney's kids? Either way, he was responding to a verbal attack on him first, so fair game if you ask me.
yet another trump conspiracy theory down the drain.
you tired of these yet? Benghazi, voter fraud, birtherism, unmasking...they are all things our president has lied to you about. And you smile and say 'thank you sir may I have another'
Comey and the FBI found to have no bias in their work. Official report from the inspector general.
“We found no evidence that the conclusions by department prosecutors were affected by bias or other improper considerations,” the report said, according to one official who read the sentence to The New York Times. “Rather, we concluded that they were based on the prosecutor’s assessment of facts, the law, and past department practice.”

Your reasoning has nothing to do with any style of democratic governance.

And just yesterday they were stepping over each other on this thread in excitement over the release of the report. Nothing but a bunch of suckers. If anything they should investigate Comey's hesitation to officially look into the Russian ties with trump's campaign, considering his timely announcement to push Trump across the finish line first.

Didn't you know Gary studied politics carefully for decades.. lets take his word for it. What I find most amusing is that his worldview has not become a "solution" for progress... meaning Trump fits with his worldview, and Trump won, so that can only mean he was right all along... never mind the decades over which he wasn't right. What will happen to these folks when Trumpland crashes out?

With all due respect, that's the same whataboutism DiscoGary so gleefully uses. Past or current personal beliefs and actions do not necessarily denigrate an argument even if they do run counter to the assertion. It's a good thing we're bringing our boys back home. It's a bad thing that Trump has to make everything about himself, which is what this is ("I'm so great, look at me for bring our troops home!")
There will more info released. The libs as always, celebrate a victory before reaching the finish line.
Lisa Page and Peter Strzok texts:
Page: "Donald Trump is never going to be president, right?"
Strzok: "no he will not, we will stop him"
Not a good show from these two biased fools.
The Flagpolian Flop is coming
The agipian choke is coming
Mueller never
Clownpole forever
That is not the same whataboutism.
He is not saying what about what someone else did.
He is saying what about them supporting something now that they were strongly against when the other side did it.
It's what about how your own views changed.
Republicans were in disgust when Obama even mentioned the possibility of a meeting with Kim.
Now they say what a good thing it is that Trump actually did meet with him.
For the record, I think it is good that Trump opened a dialogue with North Korea.
And I think it's good that we are not likely to see Kim shooting off missile tests any time soon.
I do not believe that it counts as a successful denuclearization agreement, though.

That may make them morally dubious or hypocrites, but it does not make them logically incorrect and it is indeed whataboutism.
