I read the transcript (which contains no real evidence of anything), I keep tabs on Breitbart, I tune-in to conservative talk radio, I never watch teevee news. So what rat maze are you talking about? It's not like I'm being denied relevant information here. I've surveyed the available evidence and determined that your side is extremely disagreeable.
No. The MSM is not hard-core left wing. It is constantly undermining the liberal agenda. Let's take, for example, the most lefty mainstream publication of them all, the NY Times. The Op-Ed page for the NY Times does not employ a single Bernie supporter. It does, however, employ a host of conservatives (Douthat, the Brooks Brothers, Stephens) who might not support Trump but would happily return to the fold under someone civil, like Pence. Leading up the the election, it published an erroneous article titled "Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia" while devoting article after article to the subject of Hillary Clinton's emails. They probably did more to sway the outcome of the election than Breitbart. The NY Times' White House reporters essentially operate as stenographers. They have no will to call Trump officials like Sarah Sanders liars when they lie. (In fact, they say it's not their job to do that!) When interviewing Trump, they have never pressed him to explain himself when he says something wrong or nonsensical.
A few questions:
Do any of your favored right-wing publications host any liberal writers?
Do they publish features telling conservatives that the key to winning is to be nicer to liberals?
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/12/opinion/sunday/liberals-youre-not-as-smart-as-you-think-you-are.htmlDo they constantly run articles talking about the dangers of conservative intolerance for opposing views?
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/08/opinion/intellectual-dark-web.htmlDo they attempt to provide both sides of practically every argument in the name of balance? Do they frequently run articles urging Republican strategists to seek out more moderate positions to win-over conservative Democrats?
There is no comparison. Honestly, I'm a little envious of you. If the New York Times actually operated like a Breitbart for the liberal cause, the current political landscape would look completely different. At least they still do some real reporting and break important stories. Right-wing media rarely breaks any actual news unless it's related to illegal immigration in some way.
