Flagpole's post does not in any way compare Trump to Gotti. The reference to Gotti (as well as to the giant panda) was to (CORRECTLY) show the logical fallacy in you using "innocent until proven guilty" in your previous post.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is a cute phrase that points to the workings of our legal system wherein any defendant should be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is INCORRECTLY used when made to suggest that a person is actually innocent of a crime until it is proven otherwise. When you commit an unjust act you are immediately guilty of said commission. This is true regardless of whether anyone ever even finds out about your act.
