I really have no idea. Will Mueller wait until he has all the charges at once? I could see the Logan Act dropping off. I honestly did not believe two months ago that he was going to go down for Conspiracy with Russia, but as I have recently said, that is going to happen now.
I actually think the violation of the Logan Act as the main domino to take him down.
It looks like Trump sent Flynn to talk to the Russians about sanctions before he was inaugurated.
That is a violation of the Logan Act.
Then Flynn lied to the FBI about it and is facing charges for that.
And Trump had Flynn fired for lying to Pence about it.
Then Trump fired Comey for not pledging to leave Flynn alone.
Trump still has to be interviewed by Mueller. One question he will face is did he instruct Flynn to discuss sanctions relief with Russia prior to being president?
(we know he did that)
Trump has two choices there:
Lie to Mueller and be subject to perjury
Admit he violated the Logan Act and have that go on his record when the inevitable impeach trial comes.
The violation of the Logan Act could lead to charges of that violation plus obstruction of justice plus perjury.
The Michael Cohen investigation may turn up serious money laundering.
All this while conspiracy with Russia lies waiting with Flynn, Manafort and Gates trials.
And for Trump and his supporters who complain how long the witch is taking - Trump hasn't even been questioned by Mueller yet.
How can they end it before any questioning?
