That's optimistic. Who even knows who the Democratic candidate will be? I know many Trump voters that are just happy to see liberals' heads spin and will gladly pull the lever for Trump again.
Right. Most voters chose their party when they were young and vote party lines, even with toxic candidates. A general election win tends to go to some combination of getting the party's base out to vote and a very small percentage of voters with no party affiliation.
##Back in the swamp:
A group of Colorado homebuilders paid for a luxury hotel stay last fall for EPA chief Scott Pruitt, During his visit to Colorado Springs, Pruitt gave a speech to the builders and invited them to EPA headquarters in Washington, where he later told his staff to regard them as the agency’s “customers,”
This is like the fire department chief going to an arsonists convention to court more arson because fire is better.

It's click-bait. I think people with a good handle on how Congress works knows that it's not likely. Legally, few understand how obstruction charges could play out with Presidential privileges. I certainly don't.
It's entirely possible Trump serves two terms. The Democratic party needs to have a much better game and a better candidate for 2020. So far, it seems like that's not happening.
I agree that Democrats are overestimating there chances for 2020. I think of the likely candidates so far Biden is the only one who would beat Trump but sadly he might actually be to moderate for this current iteration of the Democratic Party so he may not even win the Primary. Maybe Bernie with the youth vote but I still think he would turn off a lot of moderate democrats and cause them to vote third party.
Say what you want about the republicans but the Democratic Party is deeply divided between the Hilary and Bernie wings and that will play to the republicans advantage in future elections.
Sadly your best option at this point may be Oprah.

I don't see Trump winning in 2020, if he runs at all. He cannot change his spots --he will not change--, so political havoc will continue for the next two-years.
What I think will happen is that Dems will take over the House and the Senate. Trump's agenda will die. He won't try to change anything. He will only try veto anything the Dems try to pass. Meanwhile, his entire remaining years will be spent tweeting. watching TV, and playing golf.
1) Trump may run (I mean he has already campaigned), but he will not make it to election day in November 2020. He will either resign before then or be impeached and removed or die of natural causes (hopefully not the last, because he needs to pay the price for his crimes).
2) The Democrats WILL take the House, but the Senate is less certain. Wouldn't shock me for the Democrats to take the Senate, but it is not for sure.
3) Trump will continue to watch TV and tweet for sure. I assume he will play more golf, but it appears he hasn't been doing much of that lately.
4) It is no longer a matter of IF Trump will be found guilty of crimes but of how many.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

James Comey is a Republican.
1. Delusional- are you on drugs?
2. Possible
3. Who cares?
4. Never
Mueller is never ever coming
Clownpole- the inevitable Flagpolian Flop
It’s really hard for an incumbent to lose. You really need either a bad economy or political suicide (Carter, Bush the Elder). We could have both by 2020...or neither.
Biden needs to run. He didn’t run last time because of his son’s death and whether we like it or not that’s the pink elephant in the room. I think for many voters that will be in the back of their minds.
While Clinton had been the heir apparent to the presidency since Bill left office, Biden deserves it. He’ll have to beat back the far alt-left in the same way that Republicans had to beat back the far alt-right. Hopefully they’ll have more success than their Republican counterparts.

1) Not delusional. I have never used illegal drugs or any drug in an illegal or abusive manner.
2) Not possible. It WILL happen as I said...House will be taken by Democrats for sure. Senate less sure.
3) I didn't say anyone cared, but Trump WILL continue to watch TV (like an addict) and tweet. He also will play golf more than likely unless he is too depressed about his legal exposure. You SHOULD care. Trump said he wouldn't have time to play golf if elected, and he made fun of Obama for playing golf (WAY less than Trump has played golf) to throngs of cheering admirers. So, Trump lied to you and you don't care. Nice. Have some self respect and give a damn about being lied to over and over and over again.
4) Never? Oh...for sure, brother. Again, it is not a matter IF there will be charges. It is only a matter of how many.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

Reminds me again of the investigation against Bill Clinton, which took much longer than the current one against Trump.
Obstruction has been clear since he supposedly told Comey “I hope you can let this go”, then fired him and fired Flynn. Still, hard to prove. Clinton obstructed Justice as well but it again couldn’t be proven.

Wait, what's this "nuance" and "on the one hand...on the other" crap?!? This is LRC--you're supposed to take an *extreme* position and defend it to the death...and to commit *more* strongly to it, whenever you're presented with contrary evidence!
I consider it unlikely that Trump will be impeached and *extremely* unlikely he'll be convicted. And, as others have said, I think that's a good thing. I do NOT want Pence in the Oval Office.

Not Biden--too many skeletons (aka gaffes) in that closet, and too old.
Not HRC--too old, and everything else.
Not Bernie--too old, and an atheist socialist Jew--if you think he'd have a shot, you don't know American voters.
But a *better* candidate, and one with something *positive* to say.
1) You are right that it is difficult for an incumbent to lose. Scandal is a problem for an incumbent though, and we have plenty of that with this President.
2) I really hope Biden doesn't run. He is 75 NOW. Time for new blood. Will have to hear of his plagiarism all over again, mentions of his age, his connection to Hillary and Obama. Too much baggage.
3) Bernie is 76 NOW. Just too old. He's also wrong about free college.
4) It's a shame that Ted Lieu was born in Taiwan and can't run. He would be outstanding...smart, highly educated, military vet.
5) Oprah would be a disaster. We tried the experiment of bringing in someone with no government experience, and it hasn't worked out well (mostly because Trump is a criminal, but he also just doesn't know how government works at all).
6) I would like to see Elizabeth Warren give it a try, or at least be on the ticket as Vice President. I have no clear favorite yet for President.
Pence is stupid, but he's vanilla and would be way better than Trump. Trump is a criminal and is attacking the rule of law and our freedoms.

Gorsich just voted with LIBERAL SCOTUS members to shoot down Trump's travel ban. He is NOT loyal to Trump. Should Trump fire him? His Republican man card must be revoked!

Not stupid. Crazy like Trump only he seems to have impulse control, unlike Trump.
And then there is his long history of wasting time legislating all kinds of theocratic rules.

Strongly disagree. Pence actually has some legislative experience and might very well get some of his hideous (antiwoman, theocratic, etc.) policies enacted. Through his sheer incompetence, I feel that Trump has less potential to really hurt us.
Bear in mind, Pence is a guy who would *welcome* the end of the world--because that would mean JC would be returning. Yikes!
Actually, I mostly agree with you on points 1-5. Regarding Biden, there are several videos of him inappropriately touching children. He is a creepy old man and a borderline pedophile. We differ on 6.
Senator: Lie-a-watha/Pocahantas/Talking Bull Warren used a false narrative to steal a position at Harvard from someone more qualified. Plus, she refused to take a DNA test to prove her Native American claims once and for all. She is a fraud just like Rachel Dolezal (the white woman who pretended to be black).

Here is most of Gorsuch's explanation for rejecting Trump's level ban.
Vague laws invite arbitrary power. Before the Revolution, the crime of treason in English law was so capaciously construed that the mere expression of disfavored opinions could invite transportation or death. The founders cited the crown’s abuse of ‘pretended’ crimes like this as one of their reasons for revolution. … Today’s vague laws may not be as invidious, but they can invite the exercise of arbitrary power all the same—by leaving the people in the dark about what the law demands and allowing prosecutors and courts to make it up.
