Trump moves away from the crazy right wing. The health care plan and the immigration ban have brought him failure and miserable approval ratings.
Trump is not a hard right guy, I think. I think he wants the roar of the crowd and making the sale. Whereas people like the Freedom Caucus would rather lose than compromise.
So I suspect we'll see a more populist Trump now - infrastructure, jobs, jobs, jobs. And less of the ideological right.
We'll see what Bannon does with that.
Maybe. Trump really listens to Bannon though, and to Alex Jones too of all people. This Russian thing isn't going away, and it's just getting worse for him...now there is evidence that not only did Russia (with about 1000 people working on it) work feverishly to make sure Trump won, but they knew enough to target the rust belt states with loads and loads of fake news about Hillary, and some fake positive stuff about Trump.
There is enough to start impeachment proceedings on Trump right now...his refusal to divest from his businesses is enough...now, it just takes Congress, but especially the Senate to decide they've had enough of Trump. These things take time, and it could simply be that the clock runs out and Trump is simply voted out of office in 2020, but the impeachment proceedings will begin. Tick, tick, tick.
Regardless of what happens, it is clear that Trump is the weakest, most unfit and unprepared president ever.
