I can't believe I have to even explain this... but you do realize the whole context of "winning" was as a country, compared to other countries, right? It wasn't Republicans "winning against the Liberals."
You guys are acting like crazed lunatics at this point. You can't even think straight.
Yes, and no. Sure, Trump referred to "winning so much it will bore us" etc, etc, etc , and was often referring to the success he will bring America, but of course he was also always talking about how HE always won, how HE was going win the election and vanquish all his opponents, and how he always has been, and always will be, a WINNER. Now sure, some of that is not different than what many politicians running for office say, since they need to win to get the job they want, but some really seem intent on winning personally via helping their constituencies win. Trump, let's be honest, even when compared to selfish, ego driven politicians, is at the top of ladder when it comes to putting himself first and the victories of others next. And on a personal level, he is, though only over a very short term, LOSING BIG LEAGUE.
As far as the country, he and other conservatives claimed that Obamacare was the ultimate disaster for this nation. Then they had the chance to kill it, and............FAILURE. So according to right wingers, this is a personal loss for Trump, and a huge loss for country. Right? It surely ain't the non-stop "WINNING" he claimed was gonna occur.
