Even if he's not owned by Putin, he wasn't really successful from a business standpoint. If the godless Trump just put his inheritance into an index fund he would be worth twice as much today. Successful business people generate value that far exceeds the average market return.

For all we know, the godless Trump has a negative net worth. It's quite possible. We have no idea.

But assume he does have a healthy balance sheet today. This guy has done a lot of sleazy deals. If Mueller uncovers enough financial dirt, he and the Trump Organization could easily die bankrupt from punitive damages.

Do you have any concrete evidence that Putin owns Trump?

Well sure its easy to say that in hindsight try telling that to the people that had there money invested during the 2008 crash. Although your right he probably would be more wealthy if he had just invested the money but then he never would have created 1000's of jobs and improved the lives of so many people (Trickledown Economics). Its not always about money.

I think a lot of moderate democrats if given the choice would have voted kasich over Hilary (just ask some of them on this thread). You have no evidence that kasich is a terrible person.

Maybe you know something that is not in that article. But the article does not sound nearly as bad as either your comment or the headline make it sound.

The group that seems to be holding up passage of the relevant bill (Kentucky SB 48), the Family Foundation of Kentucky, says that they want to add language to make it HARDER for children to get married, not easier. They want to require BOTH a judge AND a parent to approve of the marriage.

"Mary Kunze, a spokeswoman for the Family Foundation of Kentucky, told HuffPost that the group supports the bill overall, but wanted changes to the provision allowing a 17-year-old to get married with a judge’s consent. Kunze said they wanted it to make clear that a parent must also agree to the marriage."

You completely ignored what was in the article. That Kentucky, Florida and Texas HAVE LONG-STANDING, EXISTING LAWS that allow child marriages, and that many men have used to "obtain" child brides. Now, how about Florida and Texas?
