Our friend Gary has been noticeably absent during this healthcare nonsense. Perhaps he finally realized that Trump is about the furthest thing from "small government conservative" imaginable within the Republican party.

The sad part is, the liberal media is so in on it that even when obamacare fails and democrats are to blame, the media will cover. Expect the media to ignore catastrophic failures and spin how the system is still working, OR watch them somehow blame Trump and republicans for Obama's 'legacy' healthcare. It's ridiculous how partisan they are

Who doesn't feel superior to DFF?
Glad I am always in your head. You are definetly the easiest of my libbbtard conquest😎

Shame on the Republicans.
Small government.
Personal liberty.
You can't even blame the Trumptards for that thoug they are obviously complicit.
I hold no water for Democrats but the Republicans are nearly all scum.

That is one thing they can all agree on.
And punish the Trump voter for being 'poor' and 'lazy' and having sex and using drugs. We could all be CEO-class people if the poor just stopped buying iPhones and food.
Let's not ever talk about the scarcity built into the system or the bank of mom and dad or nepotism.
"scarcity built into the system"?!?
Time to put that tinfoil hat down for just a little bit, brother.
Hey trumpers how the winning going? Tired of it yet?
Trump had to tell you deplorables that in fact he never promised a quick repeal and replace.
How do you like being lied to by your big guy? Feel like a girl who thought her boyfriend loved her but then she finds out he is a fraud?
Because that is how you should feel.

As Trump makes one blunder after another, it's becoming almost impossible to defend him. Hence the exit of DiscoGary and the 1 or 2 other civilized supporters of Trump that used to post here.
stealing from another thread - I think this is a huge point, and dead on.
Scott Adams arguing that the trump=hitler comparison is gone, replaced by trump=incompetent.
That's a huge promotion.
Scott Adams:
With the failure of the Ryan healthcare bill, the illusion of Trump-is-Hitler has been fully replaced with Trump-is-incompetent meme. Look for the new meme to dominate the news, probably through the summer. By year end, you will see a second turn, from incompetent to “Competent, but we don’t like it.â€
I have been predicting this story arc for some time now. So far, we’re ahead of schedule.
In the 2D world, where everything is just the way it looks, and people are rational, Trump and Ryan failed to improve healthcare. But in the 3D world of persuasion, Trump just had one of the best days any president ever had: He got promoted from Hitler to incompetent. And that promotion effectively defused the Hitler-hallucination bomb that was engineered by the Clinton campaign.
In all seriousness, the Trump-is-Hitler illusion was the biggest problem in the country, and maybe the world. It was scaring people to the point of bad health. It made any kind of political conversation impossible. It turned neighbors and friends against each other in a way we have never before seen. It was inviting violence, political instability, and worse.
In my opinion, the Trump-is-Hitler hallucination was the biggest short-term problem facing the country. Congress just solved for it, albeit unintentionally. Watch the opposition news abandon the Trump-is-scary concept to get all over the “incompetent†theme.
No one wants an incompetent president, but calling the other side a bunch of bumblers is routine politics. We just went from an extraordinary risk (Trump=Hitler) to ordinary politics (The other side=incompetent). Ordinary politics won’t spark a revolution or make you punch a coworker. This is a good day for all of us. It just doesn’t look that way because the news is distracting you with the healthcare issue, which is also important, but a full level down in importance from electing Hitler (in your mind).

He is completely inept. A narcissistic crazy man, in way over his head. He will lose the house and senate in 19 months (if he makes it that far), and then do nothing for the remainder of his term. Then the Dems will take over and hold power for something like 12 years. The damage he is doing to the Republican party is going to be long-lasting, and coupled with the increasing Latino population I don't see the Republicans getting another chance for a long time. People will remember this idiot forever. A significant amount of people voted for him as a symbolic FU to "the corrupt system," and are already sick of him. Most people just want somebody remotely stable at this point.

Yes...They have given up all pretense of fairness and are now openly partisan....It's because liberalism is a religion...They actually feel they are morally superior and are 'saving' the country...That's why they have an approval rating that is rock bottom. It's almost funny how deluded and dumb they are and yet so cocksure of themselves....Too dumb to realize how dumb they are...
it's interesting when trumpers claim obamacare is failing. Because it's obviously not.
and it's interesting when they claim mass media lies. Because MSM obviously doesn't lie.
ah well that's why they are trumpers. They aren't real good at analysis - look who they chose to be their big man.

Wasn't Gary the guy who advocated murdering the children of terrorists? I'd hardly call him civilized.
I hate to think that we consider someone civilized just because he does more than spew digital vomit.

No, that was Ghost of Igloi, another real piece of work.
(although maybe Ghost and Gary are the same person - IDK)

speaking of civilian casualties, in a normal news cycle the carnage in Syria would be the main story. Since Trump became president he seems to have followed through on his promise to carpet bomb ISIS. US bombs and allies have killed around a thousand Syrian civilians in March. 100 in one single attack.
This is a shame on the nation.
