It's very clear what's going on now. The Mueller investigation has nothing on Trump so they are justifying their existence by going after small fish and indicting anyone they can find to keep the coup alive. We have an independent council indicting a Russian for identity theft? WTF!!! ... which has nothing to do with Trump ... and then they announce it on a Friday afternoon during a school shooting news cycle? Because they have nothing else.
They are creating noise so that the Useful Idiots on this message board can stay energized in attacking Trump.
It is absolutely fascinating to watch a Big Lie work on otherwise intelligent decent people. I keep telling people "Don't believe you own side's propaganda! It keeps you from seeing the real world." .

One of the great things about America's democracy is we have a vigorous, sometimes bitter political contest, and when it's done historically regardless of party the person who loses the election congratulates the winner, reaffirms our democracy, and we move forward. That's how democracy survives, because we recognize that there's something more important than any individual campaign, and that is making sure that the integrity and trust in our institutions sustains itself....
...
There is no serious person out there who would suggest that you could even rig America's elections.
Democrats have not congratulated the winner.
Democrats have not reaffirmed our democracy.
Democrats have not moved forward.
Democrats have tarnished the integrity of our institutions and undermined trust in them.
Democrats claimed that Russia "hacked the election".
Democrats have put their campaign above the good of the country.
Therefore, according to Obama, Democrats are threatening the survival of our democracy. I agree. As usual, they are doing exactly what they were accusing Trump of doing.
This is a brilliant roll out by Mueller. First fraud, then collusion. You'll see. Also, you and Disco are too stupid to comprehend what is happening in real time.

So it's looking like Flynn only copped a plea because his family was being destroyed by these corrupt investigators.
Let me get this straight : you think an innocent man accepted a plea deal?
It's looking that way. He copped a plea when they started going after his son. His legal fees were bleeding him dry, all while the people who interviewed him didn't think he lied. This investigation is bordering on jack-booted fascism. This is not good for our country. This needs to stop.
Yes. I can imagine that from the liberal media created rat maze you call the "real world", that I would look retarded. You have one problem though. I can tell you what's around the next corner in your rat maze, while you have no idea where you're really at.
He and Disco are the same person. Ever notice how they BOTH suddenly show up on this thread at exactly the same time? truthseakr is the name that DiscoGary hides behind when he wants to say more explicitly racist things. Then he reverts back to DiscoGary when he wants to claim victimhood - "Oh, the world is out to get me! You libs accuse me of being racist when I am the least racist person you know! That's why Trump won! A man does not forget after being accused of being something he is not!" Then back to Truthseakr whenever he really needs to say something blatantly racist. Pattern recognition.

Anyone in LE who would accept a plea deal from someone they thought was innocent does not deserve to be in LE to begin with.

This country desperately needs an "at long last, have you no shame" moment aimed at this investigation by a prominent Democrat. The fact that every Democrat in power or in the MSM is letting this go on is hideous.
Only one Democrat has the character to stand up to this. Who knew it would be Dershowitz?

Wait, that's a FACT.
Facts are not allowed to enter Trumpetteville.

CORRECT!
These indictments are just steps...lays out the players, the fact that Russia did, without a shadow of a doubt, meddle in our election, and they show that Mueller and his team are productive. Money laundering and obstruction of justice are likely next, though we might see some random indictments like the England-based son in law of Russian oligarch dude.
Will be interesting to see if Mueller will indict Trump and then have that challenged by the Supreme Court, or if he will simply lay out the evidence of Trump's crimes and let Congress and the Senate have it.
Also, if an indictment does come down on Trump, it will be interesting to see if Don Jr.'s comes first or if Mueller waits and does them both at the same time.
You Trumpers are so delusional. We have a big time criminal in the White House, and you continue to support him. Ridiculous. Trump is so screwed, and this time not by a porn star or some Playmate he tried to pay.

Yes, go figure. Just as a point of reference, the federal government via the OIG, has been promulgating legalized extortion on the medical industry for years. I have been involved with several companies over the years that have had "whistle blower" lawsuits (the whistle blowers get a % of the extorted amounts paid, which should tell you something) filed against them by the OIG, none of which amounted to a hill of beans, but after a while of fighting with no end in sight the companies ultimately decide to settle and pay the government millions due to the even higher, exorbitant costs of fighting them. Refuse to settle and continue to fight? Chapter 7. And very few of these actually result in charges, even after prolonged investigations. Why is this relevant? Because it shows you the mindset of federal bureaucrats with almost unlimited power and money to burn (yours). Not much different that what has happened to Flynn, but on a much smaller scale.

1) There is nothing that the investigators have to be ashamed of.
2) Alan Dershowitz is a one-issue person. He backs Trump based solely on his stance on Israel. Zero credibility.
3) Mueller is coming. Trump is done. Anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid or delusional or both.

Not sure Dershowitz counts as a Democrat anymore, he's not anti-Israel enough

1.) Who said they should be ashamed? They are on the federal dole, have to justify their existence while they whittle away at your money. Even trump hater Strzok and his girly friend FBI mistress.
2.) And your evidence of this is?????
3.) Sorry, Don't agree with you. I think otherwise. I may be stupid, but I'm smarter than you :)

You are uneducated on this matter and flat out wrong in your assessments because of that.
1) It is a Special Counsel, not Council. Learn the difference.
2) The mission of the special counsel is not to investigate Trump. The mission of the special counsel is to oversee the investigation of Russian government efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election. So, these indictments to which you refer are right in line with the mission, and it matters not that it has nothing to do with Trump.
3) If Mueller's team had nothing else, they would have announced that when they released the indictments. Wishful thinking on your part that his team has nothing else.
4) I have grown tired of trying to educate you, but I will continue to respond to you in this way in the hopes that maybe someone else out there who doesn't know anything (and they realize they don't unlike you) will read and learn. You have shown an unwillingness to learn or an inability to learn. You have even continued to quote Van Jones' "nothingburger" comment even though he has changed his mind on that since he made that comment, and you have been told that he has.
You really don't know what you are talking about, and it's cringeworthy to watch when you try to sound like you do. Maybe you are good at something that most of us could learn...how to best remove a stump or kill a fire ant colony...something. This Special Counsel investigation though isn't it.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Trump's conspiracy theory friends have been claiming one of the FL high school gun control activists was planted by the FBI. That's right folks, the same people who claimed Obama was not born here, Sandy Hook was a hoax, suspicions surrounding Scalia's and Vince Foster's deaths, 3 million illegal votes, etc. - mostly ideas supported publicly by Trump. Don't forget to just erase any common sense and listen to your dear orange leader when he says "they" aren't telling you everything just to protect themselves.
