Your drop in time during the cross country season is probably a way better indicator of your your ultimate success this year.
On the surface, that workout could indicate anywhere from 2:01-1:55.
Depends on age of runner. All the sub 2 adult runners I've know could do that session in well under 45. It depends on you endurance as well I could do them all in 45 but off a 58 400m was never going sub 2. I had the endurance not the natural speed
I never saw any decent runner do sessions like this relaxed they would all drop the hammer on every one. As for workour warriors well one I knew was never headed in 1 rep in training and ran 1:45
I was thinking to a kid I coached a few years back that was in the middle of early season base training. The fastest he had gone in training was 32 seconds for 200m (only 8x200). Most of the rest of the sessions were geared toward aerobic strength. I took him to an all comers meet thinking maybe he could run an OK time. His PR was 1:59 high, barely under 2 min from the previous track season. I thought he could maybe run 2:02 at the time. He totally shocked me by running 1:58.2.
So, the kid had never run anything faster than 2:08 pace in training, but he was striding very comfortably at that pace and getting work done with longer intervals such as 600 @ about 2 mile pace.
The kid eventually ran 1:56 for me then went on to run 1:50.3 in college. I don't ever think he could have done the workout as listed by the OP in high school though (even though he split 48 high on a relay his senior year).
