Hi, I'm in indoor track, running the 4x8 and the 3200, in the winter and in the fall I am in X-Country. When before the race should I no longer eat or drink and what would be the best thing to eat and drink pre-race?

Not an expert but I've always heard to stop eating and drinking (except water obv) from 2-4 hours out depending on your needs. I find that 2.5 hours out is the best time for me, but it's different for everyone.
Drink: Water if it's going to be cold or medium temperature, Gatorade or a different electrolyte drink until 1 hour to go if the race will be in hot weather or longer than a 5k
Eat: this totally depends on you. Avoid dairy, but besides that it's up to you. I like to have a bagel with peanut butter and a banana, but it's totally a personal thing and my good choice probably isn't the healthiest one out there.
Dont eat itll make you too fat before you run
Top Ramen 3 hours before your event. Meal of Champions!
