At my high school track meet, a teammate of mine had run a 4:42 mile then an hour later, ran a 10:13 2 mile. Two weeks ago I ran a 9:58 2-mile fresh and was wondering if my teammate could run a sub 10 2-mile if he was fresh into the event. We both have the same training of two speed workouts a week on top of 25 miles per week for our mileage.
Could my teammate run sub 10 minutes for the 2 mile? Specifically what time?
