When youre driving through hick parts of the interstate or highway and a rusty truck of the sort pulls up right behind you at night. Not only are his lights glaring into your mirror but due to the icy conditions he is actually endangering your life by following too closely.
Driver's ed offered a basic physics lesson. For every 5-10mph you are going you should be 1 car length or so behind the driver in front of you.

Stores that lack reasonably placed cart corrals. Sorry, I'm not walking across the whole lot. The Safeway I frequent has NONE.
