Try the Mufasas.
What event? Mamba is stiffer than the Matumbo and will put you up on your toes more. Good for the 800 or mile, might start to get a little tight at 3k, and I personally wouldn't wear them above 3k.

10/10
Depends on what type of runner you are. Some guys can run a 10K in Victorys and be fine. Other guys have destroyed calves wearing spikes for anything over 5K. If you are more of a toe runner and can handle the more aggressive plate then the Mamba should work well. If you are more of a heel striker I'd stick with the Matumbo.
The Mamba 2s in purple looked great.
I'm more so focusing on the 1500. WIth some 5k's
I cant really run in victories. they tend to hurt me for anything longer than a 1500. Ill be running some 5k's but im not focused on the 1500.
You probably love nike, and so do I, but through dozens of spikes, i have found that the Saucony Endorphin MD4 are seriously perfect for 800-Mile. I used to wear Vics and love them, but they feel awful using them now after trying the MD4s. If you can somehow find a way to try them on, you'd love them. They are more comfortable and foot-shaped than anything I've ever had, and they are stiff and have good traction.
The endorphins are really underrated shoes.
The Adidas Avanti 2s are great for 3k if you want a firm feel.
