Why is it so hard to make a pair of running shoes without all the bullshit? I've never bought a pair of running shoes before and I've been running 2.5 years but now I'm looking for a pair and I can't find any. The only reason is because it's too cold right now for the amount of miles I run. I've been running either barefoot or in 4mm sandals so I know I don't need cushioning. I've been looking at racing flats like Saucony Type A6, Mizunos and Nike LT3 but they all have 4mm drops and still too much cushioning. At least they are lightweight they got that part right. I do a lot of running on soft surface and I was thinking of Saucony Kilkenny but they are too narrow. Also the Nike XC shoe soles are way too thick to run on soft surface and they aren't even flexible plus too narrow and have uneeded plates on the forefoot. Some of the Nike shoes the whole sole doesn't even touch the ground, only the heel and forefoot, that's like saying "I don't want to use my whole foot that was designed to be used". I've seen vivobarefoot shoes they would be perfect if they were a little lighter and minimal cushioning.
Also even if I did find a pair of shoes what's the point? I was gonna buy some LT3 but I run 120mpw they won't last a month! Especially racing flats. Sorry to sound like a whining moran I get grumpy when I can't run.
