For those that keep saying the Olympic final winning time was a joke and Centro's win was tainted because of the slow time, do any of you realize that in 99% of championship 1500's the pace is slow?
In your opinion, even tho time means absolutely nothing to the athletes in the race, what is your cutoff time that makes it not a "joke" race?
3:40? Even tho college athletes can run that.
3:35? Even tho that almost never happens in these sit and kick races.
Every ranked athlete on the world and US list laughs in your face at your naive suggestions that slow times in championship races make those races and their efforts inferior.
They look at you and your lack of knowledge and track ability and yawn as they wake up every morning and realize that going to work for them is going running...and going to work for you is a stretch goal or at best a drag.
