What are the best Steeplechase spikes that are aggressive enough for the mile? I'm thinking about Nike Victory Elites or NB MD800s.

The Vic Elites aren't going to disappoint, they have been doing this kind of spike for a while. Here's my fave: http://amzn.to/2hLFcfI. What percentage of your racing is steeple though? Doesn't have to be a deal-breaker, but if you are more of a steeple guy who occasionally does a 16 or 32 I'd get better drainage.
I've been using the Victory Elites for the past year and a half for steeple chase races. I've also used them for 1500m's as well as a 5k. The 5k was a bit of a stretch for me as my calves were sore for a few days following it. But that probably says more about my conditioning at the time as opposed to the actual spikes.
The spikes are pretty damn good.
Most of it will be in the later or off season. I'm a high school runner and I'll be racing 1600/3200 (occasional 800m) with the steeple races coming after May with the Jr. Olympics.
