If he races Berlin, Kipchoge will of course run 2:02. No doubt about it.
If you like, we can take 5:39 off all day long so Rupp still subs 2:05 all day long.
Galen has the potential to run a sub-2:05 marathon at some time of the day, but he can't run that pace all day long.
Eliud Kipchoge and Kenenisa Bekele can easily run sub-2:05 pace for 5 to 6 hours.
I am sorry about that Galen and Alberto.
What do you think about the conspiracy theory lunatics at this forum who have come up with a stupid conspiracy theory that the stupid Nike Sub-2:00 marathon project and the stupid Yanni Pitsiladis/Jos Hermens funded Sub-2:00 marathon project are actually both part of an evil plan to make sure that Kipchoge and Bekele are NOT THERE when Galen runs Boston against a weak and pathetic field so that Galen can be the American winner at Boston which will bring glory to his NOP coach Alberto Salazar?
