I'm a big fan of ambient electronic artist Scott Hansen, who goes by the stage name Tycho. Just read this article referencing his experience as a competitive high school and college runner. Very curious to know more about his running career but can't find anything about it online. Anybody know where he ran in college, events, etc.?

Huge fan of Tycho here, I've seen him split a 3:58 1600 split on his DMR leg at NCAA's.
Huge fan myself. Maybe it's a runner thing? I thought it was pretty cool to find out he was a runner when he was younger. He's talked about it in past interviews and said it's influenced his music. I didn't know he ran in college. He's huge! Probably 6'4" or 6'5" with fairly wide shoulders. I would also be curious to know about his college career.
Anyone not super familiar with Tycho should definitely check out all his/their albums: Science of Patterns, Past is Prologue, Dive, Awake, and now Epoch. Awesome music for reading, writing, and running.
I read this article and began to search the internet for answers of his running career as well. Was happy to find this forum.. I haven't been on LetsRun much since my college running days. If anyone finds anything please post and I will try to stick around after the next Tycho Concert I attend to chat with Scott about his running days.

Seems next to impossible to find out where he went to college, at least I couldn't find anything from several google searches.
His website says he "holds no college degrees" so that confuses me a bit.
he went to university of san francisco for two years before dropping out. i dont see any usf or wcc results for him.
