I made it to 5.6 years several years ago. Now that I can't run far and can't run fast, it was a natural fit to try "streaking". Don't let the naysayers dissuade you.

I push my twins in a rotting 18th-century wooden cart that falls apart all the time. The wheels are super heavy and hard to put back on and I have to stop a lot--makes for a nice speed workout, especially on day 2500 of my streak.
Can you just start a daddy thread? :)
I am on a streak too. I love it.

Non-twin dads are hobby-dads.
easy there chief... I know a few parents with 2-for-1 specials and they all say that it's much easier than kids of different ages because they get into sync...(feeding, sleeping, etc.)....
for some reason when I see twins I think "parents had fertility issues"... although you'd think it would be just the opposite...

What are the winter temperatures that you are running in?
Chicago winter. Horrible. I've been doing way more "dreadmill" runs the last two weeks. My mileage has dropped way off since i can't take my toddler with me and justify leaving my wife with the twins for an hour+. Already can't wait for the Spring!

This would be an accurate conclusion to make with my wife and I. Fertility issues, all 3 kids in vitro... $$$ I won't complain too much about how hard it is being a parent bc there was a time we thought we never would be. I'm not sure if your "parents had fertility issues" was negative or neutral, but yep, it's a reality.

Dang...I'm on the fence about continuing on to year two. Couldn't imagine 5.6...
