I had a work situation a few years back that was so crazy as to be unbelievable to most people. It really messed me up psychologically at the time because it included me being gaslighted and slandered. However, things have greatly improved for me since as I got out of that situation and have done work with several other agencies and am now a well-respected professional in my field in my region. I would say I even have more power now than my old boss does, and a lot of different smoking guns have come about over the years suggesting I am a good person and she is not. Honestly, I think the biggest reason she tried to hard to mess up my life was that she was intimidated by me and knew I was much smarter and more competent than her.
Anyway, I've been playing with the idea of writing her an email rehashing a few things and indicating I have information on her (which I do) and including a veiled threat that would be very ambiguous. Though I would definitely enjoy ruining her life (because she's a genuinely awful human being), I mostly just want to freak her out. I'm just wondering if I could get in any kind of legal trouble for doing such a thing. Anyone know? Is there a better way to get back at her?
